So weird looking back on this, it's an interview Davina did on Channel 4 just before BB8 - and she's talking about the ongoing success of Big Brother and how she's attached to the show, and can't wait for another great Summer of fun etc

And it's like, so weird because that was just before Big Brother begun going downhill in 2007, makes you feel sad looking back on it and seeing how people use to think of the show, and that it's not viewed like that again.

I mean no chat show is going to get Brian Dowling on in May to talk about Big Brother rumours and gossip about what the producers have up their sleeve the way it use to be.

BB8 was vile. But I was just looking back at the house photos, I would kill for a house like that again. :amazed: And this is coming from someone who use to hate the BB8 house.

BB8 is so underrated.
Yeah it had like a trillion HMs but still
The evictions nights were the best
I used to love watching Ugly Betty / 8 out of 10 Cats between the eviction shows lol
Oh the memories

BB8 was by no means in the same league as BB7, but is very underrated. Some good HM's and arguements came with that series.

Why not? He went onto This Morning last year (I think between CBB and BB) and had a long chat with Phil and Holly about it.

BB8 was decent enough. The only mistake was the launch night twist meant to get an equal amount of men in the house they had to add a new housemate every week.

And I actually think BB7 was over exaggerated..It was great but I remember when I was originally watching it didn't seem great

I thought BB8 was really good up until Week 8 (when Charley was evicted); it just completely went downhill after that with the only interesting housemate being Carole!

I actually agree with a few other people here. I think BB8 was a great series. It has remained as my fav after BB5 & 6. There was plenty of controversy, arguing, a dynamic set of housemates and it was entertaining the whole way through. The main problem is that it came after series 5, 6 and 7, which are considered to be some of the best by many viewers.

Exactly I guarantee if BB8 showed now then people would regard it as one of the best series

BB8 signalled the downfall of Big Brother for me and where I started hating it.
But in comparison with recent series it had many memorable moments, and at least held my interest for about 7/8 weeks.

I stopped watching when Charley was evicted, and it made me laugh how they chucked in about 90 housemates to try and get it entertaining again because they knew that charley owned bb8.

Mind you; it was very good up until her eviction and I LOVED the house and the eye

Why does everyone think it went downhill after BB8? In my opinion it went downhill when it moved to C5! BB8-11 were amazing series'! BB10 was boring at points but yeah, good series' :)

Ugh I found Charley so annoying. She would have been great (in my eyes) if she had toned it down just a tad. Similar feeling with Science... later in that series he began to tone it down a big and show off a bit of a joking side when he had agruments... which was entertaining. Charley was just flat out loud and annoying.
