Cheryl Cole has released new pictures from the filming of her music video for her latest single 'Call My Name'.

Back in the gutter.


The track is set to receive its premiere on BBC Radio 1 on April 20, and is said to be a dance track.

It will be the lead song from her third studio album, and is written and produced by Alex da Kid, who previously produced 'Love the Way You Lie' by Eminem and Rihanna, and B.o.B's 'Airplanes'.

Cheryl knew being friends with MC Hammer would have it's benefits one day.


The video was directed by Rich Lee, and was filmed in Los Angeles.

The clip appears to include Cole in a dance number with a group of bikers while wearing some colourful leggings.

Cheryl Cole is rumoured to be dropping her surname for future projects, and will be known simply as Cheryl.

I know Cher Lloyd was a mini Cheryl but now Cher is more relevant than her it looks like she's trying to look like Cher. :joker:

Cheryl must be at least 30 by now, which is too old to revive a dead career imo, no one likes old people singing unless your Madonna or Cher :bored:

Clever bitch trying to create controversy around her before releasing her new single.

I would like her to release a song with Cheryl Tweedy on it with no controversies before the single is released, I would love to see how she does in the charts then.

Not really, she was 18/19 when she was on Popstars and that's 10 years ago now.

As for the 30 thing, tell that to Jennifer Lopez.

Cheryl Cole has announced the release date of her new single and third album.

The Girls Aloud star will debut 'Call My Name' this Friday (April 20) across UK radio from 8.10am, ahead of its release on June 10.

The Anthony Mandler-directed video for the single, filmed in downtown LA, will premiere on Vevo on May 2.

Rumoured to be a dance track, the Calvin Harris- written and produced song will serve as the first cut lifted from Cole's third solo album A Million Lights, which will be released on June 18.

The LP, the follow-up to number one albums 3 Words and Messy Little Raindrops, was recorded in London, New York and LA with collaborators including Alex Da Kid, will.i.am, Lana Del Rey, Jim Beanz and newcomers Pantha and HyGrade.
