I thought after last nights shambolic display this would be a suitable thread
For me it is personally the champs league final at Wembley. For months leading up to the game all we heard about is how Fergie learnt his lessons etc etc from Rome so I was quite positive. And then I saw the team sheet which contained the great plan of playing a midfield bloody 2 of Giggs and Carrick going man for man with xavi and iniesta. Then to add insult to injury we played park ahead of Nani by far the worst display both tactically and on the pitch I have ever seen bar none

I didn't watch the 8-2 match but that was bloody embarrassing.
I think the most disappointing game I remember watching was the champions league final against Barcelona. We were 1-0 up and had really good possession and chances, but then lost 2-1 :( but oh well, we made the final
The West Ham Liverpool FA Cup final a few years ago, to lose that in the way we did - on pens after being 3-2 up in stoppage time before Gerrards wonder goal - was heart breaking.
Spurs Portsmouth FA Cup 2010...

Another that has still stayed with me to this day was the 2002 world cup where we abused Spain but just lacked that little bit of class to really finish them. If not for Micks poor management with Keane we could easily hame made finals
Was pretty gutted in that 02 world cup when we lost to Brazil as well after being 1-0 up, Seaman getting lobbed by Ronaldinho :bored:

Wolves away last season. Lost 3-1. I was just sitting in the Molenuex, so fed up. Just wanted to go home and not speak to anyone.

And yet they're going down this season and you're not :thumbs2:

Yeah, the only saving grace was that we were already safe. And now they're more or less relegated and we beat them 5-1 at their place :D

The majority of games under Roy Hodgson, even when we won we played terrible football.

When we lost 7-0 at St Andrews to Liverpool in the Carling Cup I think it was.

Nearly every game this season under this twathead McLeish
and the carling cup final defeat to United at Wembley 2-3 years ago
Not so much depressing, but angry, Vidic should of been off when we got the pen, and we were just unlucky to lose it, and then when United won the players didn't even really celebrate
Mike Dean screwed us over that game

Women's World Cup 2011 Final...I'm a American so the fact that we horribly failed and had 4 chances to shut it out in the first 20 minutes depressed me.

Carling cup final last year when we lost to Birmingham. Our first shot at silver ware for 7 years and we lost on a mix up between keeper and centre back. Brimingham were so sh*t that they then slept walked their way to relegation. It just about sums Arsenal up over the past few seasons.

I've got to admit that it was the most shocking result i've ever seen in Football as we was so **** last season that I think we would have lost to most Championship sides.

Went to the United Villa game at VP this season for my Birthday, don't go to many cause of how far away it is, and it was one of the worst games we've seen
it was like Big Eck purposely bent over for Fergie to have the easiest game he's ever had in management

In all honesty watching Pogba rot on the bench whilst Giggs tries his best to ruin his legacy has also depressed me this year
