Hi, welcome to the voting Poll for the latest challenge in The Bachelorette.

Please vote for up to three contestants. The Bachelorette and myself can, as always, vote for more if we wish. The two contestants with the lowest number of votes after the poll closes (24 hours) will face Bachelorette's Question Time.

The Challenge:

Randy, Zac, Horatio, Timothy and Pixter......

Miss Mollie likes to chill out at home sometimes, makes a nice change to the busy social whirlwind that is her life. For this challenge you must plan an evening in for the pair of you, including a menu and soundtrack for the evening. Mollie is looking forward to your efforts :)

------------------------------------------------

Randys' Entry

Itinerary

- Mollie will be spoilt with an evening of pampering. The dinner will all be cooked by Randy whilst Mollie puts her feet up and listens to music, or reads, or whatever takes her fancy.
- The dinner is illustrated below, and is served with whatever drink is desired.
- After dinner, Mollie shall receive a pottery lesson from Randy, whose father was a skilled craftsman in Austria.
- Things might get messy, so a quick shower shall be needed. Randy does not presume he needs to join Mollie here, since he is a gentleman.
- Afterwards, Mollie shall be given a drive home in a hired Bentley, driven by someone she really hates so she can sit in the back and laugh about how said enemy is now her staff.

Soundtrack:

- "Us", Regina Spektor - because it's a testament to Randy and Mollie's blooming relationship
- "U.R.A.Q.T.", M.I.A. - Because you are a cutie.
- "Us Against the World", Coldplay - for during the dinner, since it's all mellow and lovely and stuff.
- "Unforgettable", Nat King Cole - for during dinner, since it's sexy muzik.
- "Unchained Melody", The Righteous Brothers - for the post-dinner pottery lesson
- "Use Somebody", Pixie Lott, for a tender cuddle on the sofa.
- "Under the Bridge", Red Hot Chili Peppers, for further relaxation until it's goodnight.

You'll notice all the songs here begin with U, because U R all Randy thinks about. xoxo

Menu:

Starter - Aubergine and mint bruschetta

Timothys' Entry

Hello and welcome to my task answers:

Appetizers

To start things off some lovely bacon

http://www.blogcdn.com/www.slashfood.com/media/2010/08/greasy-bacon-590-1282238110.jpg

Main Course

Here we have a lovely steak covered in bacon

http://i.imgur.com/UQTbW.jpg?1

with some lovely bacon wrapped roasted potatoes

http://i.imgur.com/gZ0XE.jpg?1?5606

and, of course, for the healthy side of things

some lovely bacon wrapped asparagus

Dessert

And for dessert, lovely bacon cupcakes

And in case you wanted to know, I killed all the animals myself.

Music

Now what every great meal needs is a soundtrack to go with it. So while the lovely Mollie is eating all this lovely food she can enjoy some equally lovely tunes. The soundtrack for the meal is as follows:

Love Shack-The B-52
Watch you while you sleep- The Scotts
Made a doll out of your hair- The Dollmakers
In the Dark Alley we met- The Killhers
Come closer and don't say a word- The Kid Nappers
They will never find your body-Dead and Gone Forever
Invisibile- Clay Aiken
Have my children- Willing or not
Poison in her food-The Poisoner
Wind Beneath My Wings-Celine Dion

The End

Zacs' Entry

We shall sit in and watch a few DVDs together - any film Mollie wants to see, I have a love for action and horror but if Mollie would rather watch some romantic movie, that's cool.

Now for the meal, we would have a curry - because who doesn't like curry?
Something a bit similar to this, only maybe without the green rubbish on top:

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_hlxGFZiqsfg/TMF37HCNJ0I/AAAAAAAADQc/GK8_VVAvJYc/s1600/beef-curry.jpg

And probably get to know each other over this, as you do. Finishing off with dessert, and I'd serve us both two ice cream sundaes:

Mollie can have whichever one she pleases.

We'd end the night by maybe having a few drinks and listening to music, none of this Romantic music that makes one want to top himself. I would go for a more fun approach, maybe a bit of Pixie Lott for Mollie. Or perhaps even listening to a decent radio station, like Kerrang. As myself and Mollie share a similar taste in music, anything works really.
No soundtrack really needs to be planned, just chill out and listen to the radio for a while after a DVD and a great meal.

Horatios' Entry

So yes, for our perfect night in, me and Miss Mollie would have a lavish meal (Ordered over the telephone, Hor is very classy, he'll have you know). Of course this lavish meal would be Pizza and Chips (meat feast not an option as Mollie is vegetarian, although she could get a different kind of meat feast if she plays her cards right.) -wink wink- We would then watch back to back episodes of Maisy Moments and Pixie Lott concerts.

Pixters' Entry

To kick this motherlova off, no episode of the bachelor/ette is complete without the obligatory helicopter ride, so to start the date, I’m going to let you sit on my chopper………And take a trip round my garden.

h7J7thcVCvc

Then as we land this is the track that plays….

s9y1M-T65mE

I’d blindfold you at this stage (no snooker ball in the mouth though, so don’t worry), and walk you gently through the rest of my garden

http://www.toddsmithphotography.com/transparency/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/tsmith_081101_9900_e500.JPG

and into a clearing where I’ve set up a special performance just for tonight.

2vF4MSMcSOQ

After that you’re probably going to want to snog my face off and rip my clothes off. Not just yet you tart, there’s time for that later.

As a special treat, I’ve flown over the chefs of Bliss restaurant to prepare us a meal. Bliss is widely acknowledged to be the worlds’ greatest vegetarian/vegan restaurant.

http://www.menupages.com/restaurants/bliss/menu

What better music to eat to than Marvin?

gdqtmnd2T0U

After dinner, it wouldn’t be a tacky television/fake romance programme without the date-ending hot tub scene.

http://projectquantum.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/Top-rated-hot-tubs.jpg

Hop in and hop on.

5Je6YnLNpL0&feature=related

That will bring the date to an end.

I’ll phone my friends and ask them if they want to come round and smell my fingers, and you’ll be thinking about the kindest way you can let the losers, oops, I mean other contestants, down gently.

.................................................. .......................

Vote for the contestants you think have made the best efforts please :)

I think Timothy should be sent packing immediately, I hope Mollie sees sense and realises he is mocking her. :idc:

I don't see how people are getting votes when they haven't planned an evening, but instead have just posted some songs and some food.

That's not an evening.

Miss Mollie is more than able to see who's made most effort. It's also about humour as well though guys, in defence of Timothy. :D

Oh yes, here are my comments

Randy - Now that is what I call an evening at home  You have totally outdone yourself with the choice of food, as well as the soundtrack, and I couldn't help but adore the itinerary. Excellent job once again Randy.

Timothy - Get the feeling there was just a little bit too much bacon in your menu. Also you seem rather fond of killing animals with your bare hands which, being all for animal rights myself, I totally disagree with. The music seemed like a nice choice although I can't say I've ever heard of The Kid Nappers or The Poisoner. I believe The Killhers were originally The Killers but they got sued by the other Killers over their name so I will let you off there.

Zac - Amazing :worship: I adore curries as well as ice cream sundaes so brilliant choice in food. And that sounds like my perfect idea of an evening in, so excellent job

Horatio - Pizza & chips takeaway? Watching Maisy moments & Pixie Lott concerts? Sounds like my idea of an evening in. Well done there. Can't say I have heard/am a fan of a couple of the songs on the music playlist but you redeemed yourself with Pixie. All in all an evening in with Horatio sounds like it would be a cosy one :D

Pixter - .........amazing. You have outdone yourself. You know exactly what I love and you have managed to bundle it together in such an incredible evening. Perfection. A big thumbs up from Mollie.

Mollie will shortly post her three questions, after which you will have till 11 am tomorrow to pm me your responses. :)

Ok guys, here are my questions for you both:

If we were both locked in a completely empty room for 24 hours, how would you help us pass the time and keep me amused?

If I chose you and you won this competition, what would be your first plan of action as our new life as a couple?

Say you were the director of a film based on you and me, which could be either real or ficticious - who would star as us, what would the film be called and what would the plot be?

Kate!
15-04-2012, 06:38 PM
These are brilliant questions Mollie, loads of opportunity for our guys to impress you in order to stay in the game.

Timothy and Horatio, please note that if you miss the deadline on this challenge you will automatically be eliminated. Getting close to the end now, so being strict.

Kate!
16-04-2012, 12:42 PM
Unfortunately one of the two contestants failed to meet the deadline. :nono: Placing me in a very awkward position, as I stated clearly in a previous post that failing to submit on time would result in automatic elimination.

The decision will be talked over with the Bachelorette and announced soon.

Jesus.
16-04-2012, 12:51 PM
There is no difficult situation. You made the rules clear, and one candidate failed to meet those standards. He has to leave. As he was in the bottom 2 anyway, then it's hardly a controversial decision.

Announcement: As per the above quote in bold, and the deadline being 11am, Timothy's entry - received at 11.25am can't be accepted. I am actually quite gutted to have to say that he is now out of the competition and Horatio progresses to the next round. :( However, I have to stick to what I said, and especially as another contestant was eliminated earlier in the game for the same thing, can't have double standards.)

Thank you for all your efforts "Timothy". You have been entertaining.

I will post both sets of answers for this task in a few minutes, so viewers and Mollie can see them regardless of the outcome.

Horatios' Answers

If we were both locked in a completely empty room for 24 hours, how would you help us pass the time and keep me amused?

Well I've been told I'm a natural charismatic person, so we'd have lots of laughs instantly, I feel we have chemistry Miss Mollie, and us in an empty room just sounds heavenly, that or we could just have sex, your call <3.

If I chose you and you won this competition, what would be your first plan of action as our new life as a couple?

Well, I don't do tacky, so I wouldn't be going to magazines selling it to the highest offer, it's not my idea of love, we would however be as romantic as possible with candle-lit dinners and all that stuff.

Say you were the director of a film based on you and me, which could be either real or fictitious - who would star as us, what would the film be called and what would the plot be?

Well, Ryan Gosling would be me, we look similar and are both hot, and Pixie would be you (SHE STARRED IN FRED, SHE CAN ACT!! ). It'd be called 'LUSCIOUS' and we'd have a candle-lit dinner, before somebody kicks us out for being the hottest couple in Hollywood so we turn into serial killers taking out all those who are jealous. :D

Timothys' Answers

1. If we were locked up in a room together I would recite poetry for hours on end to keep us entertained. We then may sing old Russian love songs into the night. We would forget we were even locked up.

2. The first thing we would do is get matching gold chains to show our love.

3. If our love was a film it would be called: [i]Perfect Couple[\i] starring Jack Nicholson as myself and Pixie Lott as yourself of course. The plot line would be exactly like the Titanic but where we both live.
