The Hunger Games as a tv series?

So i have read all three books an heard SOME negative views on the movies saying it didn't it it all in and i can see why sorta. So would you think it would have been better as a tv series ?

The Hunger Games; will it work as a TV series or not.

My answer; No I don't believe it will, the film was good enough, although I would have loved it to be longer I don't think cutting it down to 5/6 episodes would serve it's fans well enough.
