What's to advertise and give news about? :bored: There's no new eye, the house will be the same apart from a new wall design on the stairs and new sofas or something, and the whole format will be the same.

And we already know it will launch in June - and there'll be a Celebrity one after. That's it.
Not much for them to give exciting news about these days...

They didn't air the first advert & new eye for CBB8 until 23rd July, that's only 26 days before it launched. I expect that they'll start airing adverts around the beginning of May.

It is going out on 18th May up against football and olympics, given last years disaster (and the year before that) C5 may not bother wasting much £ on BB13 UK.

Marcus says it starts sometime in June. Therefore it's far too early for ads and promotion now.

It's sercured for atleast 2 years, and I dont need posters and banners to get excited, I know its coming (though a few tv adverts wouldnt hurt).

I feel that they are going to phase out the main series as it rated poorly last year.

The Celebrity series can go on for years as it has great potential to be reinvented every year with new characters and new dynamics.

I agree that there is no advertising which is strange. The theme should be unlucky 13, and 13 housemates should go in. The 13th housemate is the one that is told by Big Brother to wreak havoc and sabotage tasks but in order to remain in the house, he or she must not draw attention that they are the saboteur.

No they need to come up with something totally fresh. The housemates are to savvy these days and allways know when a secret task is going on.

They need to houses on launch night imo. Pit them against each other.

Hellooo, I'm new here. Just thought I'd say... They probably postponed the Launch show because there is competition out there... The Voice has live shows on and the minute and they are using the studio opposite the Big Brother House, also V.I.P on C4 has just started which would clash with the evictions, and of course the Olympics!

Thanks for that post joniface, I didn't know that the voice studio is next to bb house.

I reckon we will start to get eye flashes and info around the 24th may.
