This. It's as though some are chucking rattles out of prams. The fact is: there are no restrictions, the guy is a member, he's turning out to very quickly being a good member. People like different things about different members; that's what sometimes makes is so hard to whittle down to the cruch.

Why the rush? I don't think many will actually leave it to the last minute. I'm yet to vote, but if you're going to give us two weeks to do it, people are going to use the full two weeks.

I don't take issue with people taking their time, I take issue with people bragging about how last minute they're going to leave it - means I can't prepare anything in advance of the deadline because I try to include comments from every forum member that votes in at least some of their nominees paragraphs, and every vote changes the order so I can't even prepare the formatting in advance either - and it's these same people who then complain about how long it takes me to do the countdown on the night.

It's a bizarre thing to even have on TIBB. You can get infracted for pointing out inaccuracies in someones argument, but yet we get to rank the members?

I've seen posters who have been hibernating for most of my time on here, suddenly come out of the woodwork and start threads and post in more threads than I've seen them in before.

If this is important, then TIBB should introduce a reputation system, so the content of what people post becomes the main focus, rather than building up a nice little group and being ranked highly.

Well, when Zee said he was doing this this week, I made out a list of 20 names, for members I would like to nominate if I could, so when he wanted nominations I was able to get that straight to him, then when the 50 was announced and some of mine hadn't got past the nomination stage I just added name/s and then voted as I nommed really.
