I'll think of some more later when more are online but for now I'll say I'd take you Ammi to the days of the Movie Greats, like Audrey, and Marilyn Monroe ... Would be amazing to talk to them, I'm really intrigued by Marilyn and you could share viewpoints with Auds.

:)

I'd take Zee back to the 1830s, when he was last relevant, and leave him there.

I don't know really, the places back in time I would go to may not be to the liking of the members I would like to take with me.
Easier with family and friends as I have a fuller knowledge of whether they would like it.

Company wise obviously Jf, you yourself Ammi, Livia,Kazanne and Pyramid*,just to name 5 for now,are members I would love to accompany me because you are people I really feel a connection with.

Where I would go though would be likely less appealing,I would want to go back to the time of Mary,Queen of Scots. The trial of King Charles 1, The battle of Culloden scene.
I'd also love to look in to film making in the 30s and 40s, particularly for the making of Bette Davis films, who I am a great fan of.

Loads of places I would like to go and lots of people I would have liked to see in real life, you will get the idea from the things I listed.
From that list though,I would think it is likely few, if any, members would even want to join me doing it

I'd take Shaun to 1966 so he can hear of David Bowie before anyone else and be part of the culture that grew up with him because I'm lovely :hmph:

-was going to do the same as Greg, Shaun to the 60s/70s

But instead I'll buy him a ticket to the first voyage of this new boat called the Titantic in 1912 or something-

Too many members for too many reasons.

I'd love to use the time machine to go forward though - and see how views that are held 'now' - if those views held would change in the future.

It would be great fun all the same - back or forward.

I too would take Shaun..but not as far back..I'd introduce him to Bowie of the later 70's and early 80's when he'd left Aladdin Sane and Ziggy Stardust behind him..this was when I first saw him live..and met him..I'd like Shaun to meet him too..and see lots of other great bands live..AC/DC..The Sensational Alex Harvey Band..Bad Company..a lot of the venues were much smaller and intimate then..
...then I'd like to bring him back here and do the 70's and 80's threads again...see whether his choices are the same..which they may be

..there's a lot to fit in Shaun..you'd better bring a packed lunch

..I'll do some more later

Fast forward Arista to the year 3012 so you could marvel at the technology then.

I'm assuming because of her username..she has an interest in ancient Egypt...I don't think I've ever asked you..so I'll assume that's true..so we're off the ancient Egypt to find out more about their god and godesses and see a pyramid being built
..maybe meet Cleopatra..not the Elizabeth Taylor one..have a bathe in asps milk...and a henna make over..bit of a 'pamper day'

..you might need a packed lunch too Pyra..those beetles aren't too tasty

You are half and half correct. Where I work, I drive past a place known as the Pyramids. In fact, we currently have red sheep .....

No they breed them like that. :joker:

I'm joking of course.

The brighten up the day - and we all look out for when they appear in their colours.

They are dyed, different colours at differnt times of the year and there's a link to the farmer doing it for charity at some point: sometimes they are red (but now they are a muted pink as the dye fades....I am going in later today if they are there, I'lll take a picture) - sometime they are blue, sometimes green. :spin:

Already explained..... it initally came from a charity thing but was such a hit that he does it regularly - it's also an ideal way of him of any of his sheep found wandering outwith - as they do - to be instantly recognised.

Great idea all the same ! I do wonder what the sheep think - do they see in colour? (has no eye-dea)

..well I guess if they didn't like it they'd be looking a bit...sheepish....or red faced...ughh..that was bad
