Today is Earth Day

Earth Day is a day early each year on which events are held worldwide to increase awareness and appreciation of the Earth's natural environment.

I ask, do you care much about the environmental consequences that we have on the earth? Or do you not see it as a problem to yourself personally. I know these types of things can be overwhelming and seem pretty much out of our hands but it's a good thing!

Nope - in all honestly - no.

All over the world, Governments don't practise what they preach and certainly that's applicable to the UK.

All the 'A list' celebs who bang on about how they care so much and berate everyone else: don't practise what they preach - the latest example I can think of being (Gweneth Paltrow? maybe name not correct) - being driven something like 60metres rather than walk.

Too many hypocrites in high fullutin' places take the "Do as I say, not do as I do" - for me to feel I should give a rats arse.

Given that I love nature, I'm being as hypocritical though, given that I drive, smoke and use planes often but at least I admit it - unlike these high profile types who make out otherwise.

I do care about the damage we do to the earth but sadly one person can't make an impact - we all need to do something but in a commercial world it's just not going to happen :(
