USB Help (PS3 related) (Fixed, Calm Down Arista)

Anyobody know if I can get my USB to show up on my PS3? I think I need to format it or something?

Depends, what's on it? I've only used the USB ports for controller-chargers and my iPod to put music on there. It came up if I went into music under 'my devices' or something like that.

It just wont show up, I have films and TV series on it. It has never showed up on the PS3 :(
