My friend's house is on fire along with 2 other buildings.

Hi everyone. My friend Amber's house is on fire which set 2 (maybe 3) other buildings on fire as well. This fire has needed more than 5 fire companies in more than 6 towns. I am asking that you keep her and her family in prayer tonight.

What I don't get though is: I know if it I'd been in your position and my friends house was on fire and that it was spreading - I'd not be continuing playing softball (or any other leisure activity) - but I'd be breaking speed records to get to the scene to ensure he/she was alright.
