Feel sorry for the people who have to keep up with these games every other month they're released.

Oooh another lame-ass release that 13 year olds will cream their pants for :bored:

They've been so **** recently.

Scarlett.

I'd respect the franchise a little if they actually added ****, but it's basically them just putting different obstacles down.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II has been outed as the next entry in Activision's military shooter series.

The long-rumoured game came to light when an image of a Target pre-order card surfaced over on IGN, confirming its release date.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II will be released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on November 13, following an unveiling during the ad break of an NBA playoff match on May 1.

Activision previously claimed that the title will contain "meaningful innovations". A viral YouTube video promoting the Call of Duty franchise hinted that the next entry in the series will feature future technology.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II multiplayer details were allegedly revealed in a leaked report last month. The game will reportedly feature a brand new mode called Escort, and contain a new perks system and a fully integrated Elite mode.

Earlier this year, the conclusion of the original Call of Duty: Black Ops was voted the greatest game ending of all time by Guinness World Records readers.

The Call of Duty franchise needs to die, it's a creative wasteland of a series.

I'll be busy rolling over the beautiful green hills of Halo 4, hitting people in the back of the head with strange pink weapons.

You know ... a fun, bizarre online experience.

Here's an interesting interview
http://www.gametrailers.com/video/debut-trailer-call-of/729707

New info
- The main character is the son of the original Black Ops lead, Mason, he's called David Mason
- Strike force missions branch off from the main campaign
- Strike force missions will affect the main campaign, they can be failed and this will affect the main storyline
- Strike force missions are quite sandbox, letting you control drones and those Metal Gear style robots at anytime
- Strike force also lets you play the game as a general, viewing the battlefield from above
- In Strike force missions you can switch between squad members
- Main missions will be more linear
- The game will feature levels set in the 1980s with 2/3rds of the game taking place in 2025
- The 2025 plot revolves around a cold war with China, who are hoarding the worlds oil and precious Earth materials after being hit by a cyber attack

I'm so gonna get this

Okay this sounds/looks to be far better than I thought it would be. The info from that interview made me feel a lot better, upon seeing the trailer I was worried it might just be a rehash of MW1/2/3.

It seems like its not gonna be that way though, so I reckon I'll get this. I always did prefer Treyarch to Infinity Ward anyway.

Never doubt Treyarch tbh :) :idc:

Infinity Ward should just stop making CoD games, Treyarch are way superior

Samuel.
02-05-2012, 08:46 PM
Maybe now. Infinity Ward before all the important staff there left >

They'll never top CoD4.

Scarlett.
02-05-2012, 09:00 PM
That's true, Activision shot themselves in the foot there

Ikr. All their efforts suck anyway and they keep churning out piss poor games every other year. I just can't stand them. They can't seem to make the multiplayer balanced either I just ugh. :bored:
