Lost co-creator Damon Lindelof has claimed that the show will eventually return in some form.
The Star Trek writer / producer dropped hints about a possible revival at Variety's Entertainment & Technology Summit.
"It's been two years [since the show ended] and we told the story we wanted to tell," Lindelof said.
However, he added: "I do feel like the world has not seen the end of Lost but I'm not going to have any involvement."
Lindelof insisted that he would be happy for a new production team to oversee a Lost continuation.
"It would be hypocritical for me to say I'm going to [reboot] Star Trek but I don't want anyone to touch Lost," he said.
The final episode of Lost aired on ABC in May 2010. Exec producer Lindelof was also the show's chief writer, contributing 45 episodes.
PLEASE KEEP THIS THREAD SPOILER FREE, I'VE ONLY WATCHED TIL THE END OF SEASON 3

If Damon and Carlton aren't involved then nothing should happen, and I don't think it ever will (well apart from books, games, etc).

I think you're right, unfortunately... it would certainly cheapen what has been an amazing series.

No thanksss. I've pretty much made up what happens after in my head and I'm content with it that way. :hmph:
Probably about Boone's return from the afterlife

I don't understand why this is a news story. It's the exact same thing he said in every interview before the show ended. He said that no doubt a sequel to the show or a remake would most likely happen at some point in the future, but the story as it was has ended.
Got excited when I first saw the headline, but thinking about the last season and a half I don't want anymore.

Yes and you're absolutely right not to click on the spoiler, nor should you quote any of the posts with spoilers in as I believe it shows the content.

I'm guessing it's about how it ends or something..?

I thought of a good idea they could go with.
Contains spoilers about The End
They could do like a 6 part mini-series, one about each main character that got off the Island. Sawyer, Kate, Claire, Richard, Miles, and Lapidus.
The first 4 would definitely need an episode each, Miles and Lapidus weren't that important in the end so could maybe do with a joint episode. And the finale could be an Island centric, one Ben/Hurley/Desmond/Walt.
Think I should pitch this to ABC :pipe:

This would be the most amazing thing ever. I am still mourning Lost, even all these years later.

Don't think they would have or they'd have been with one another in the church at the end, but they were with Juliet and Jack

The triangle irritated me beyond belief towards the end. I didn't mind it in the beginning but once it started to become main focus I wanted to throw bricks at the TV. Or shake Kate and tell her to make a damn decision. lol

Spoilers Marsh, the OP hasn't finished it yet............not that it's that important but you know

It's fine I'm 6 episodes into season 4 and the triangle is just starting to come centre stage. Well, I can see the beginnings of it anyway. Here's hoping for jack and kate getting together at last! lol
