Twice. Once when I was about 5 and again when I was around 8. We put poison down both times and I haven't seen them since.

I had a field mouse once in my house many years ago. Put mouse traps down but never caught it. Must have got out somehow.

Yes, our "crisp cupboard" has mice that seem to come and go because the crisps were getting eaten. We had to move them.

One of them ate a hole in the kitchen wall. I've never been more terrified of a creature.
Yeah cats bring em in sometimes, we had a family of them living behind our washing machine for a while

Yep - both the alive hiding somewhere under the floorboards type - which Molly earned her keep with - as well as the dead type.
Molly is a great mouser. :D

I live in an old pub which have mice. Some are actually pretty cute but some are fat little ****ers. I wouldnt harm a fly though let alone a mouse so just put up with them/
Since the people downstairs got a cat they have seemed to have migrated up to the top floor.

I do get quite a few rats in my garden from time to time, but that's it. Can't stand the things.

I have 2 cunning cats and any mice around would be sorted out. We have never had a mice invasion.

She would, she has also caught frogs and small birds before. Harry cat has caught mice, frogs and live fish before.

I live in the country so there are always lots of critters around. My cat Reg thinks it's amusing to bring them in, drop them and watch me chase them. I caught a mouse once in my hands and it ran up the sleeve of my dressing gown, that was a surprise. I ended up virtually stripping off in the garden. I've bought humane traps now so that I can catch them and let them go.

We have four cats that we let out onto a quarry so they always brought some back into the house... in varying states.

We had one last Christmas, it ate some of my Brother's selection box or something - everyone in my house was looking for it, I seen it a few times and got attached to it. He seemed really sound, and I felt bad incase it got found but I didn't wanna touch it to set him free.
But then I came home from school one day, and my Dad was like proudly telling everyone the story of how he caught the mouse. I felt like I lost a friend.
Only now I realize I sound like Michael Jackson, God. What is my life.

aww, your dad killed your mouse friend. :(
I bet the mouse saw you too, and he appreciated you not ratting him out(no pun intended).
Your little mouse friend was like Anne Frank, and your dad was the SS.
No but if I did have a mouse, I would catch it and keep it as a pet
