well him and the other 2 guys were the founding members of BEP in the 90's. They already had quite a fan base before they added fergie in it for worldwide acknowledgment.

It's quite inspiring how quickly a nation, and forum, can forget how awful your music is if you appear on a TV show.

Even on the show he's wildly hyperbolic - calling performers the best voice he's ever heard, comparing them to Michael Jackson or Whitney Houston, thinking they're great 'artists' - and he has as much charisma as a beige carpet. He's so socially awkward it surprises me. He takes about a minute to finish a punchline.

But I'd forgive that if he made good music. 'Heartbreaker', 'The Time (Dirty Bit)', 'T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever)' and 'OMG' prove he doesn't any more. I do respect his older material though - anything BEP pre-The E.N.D. really.
