The Sob Stories
It's ridiculous saying that there's no sob stories in the Voice- I feel sorry for Ruth and her dad and everything but they went on about that a lot.

Toni also- she annoys me so much- yeah sorry about her having alapeesha but I'm GLAD the public aren't voting for her just because of that.

Jaz's wife
wtf was that even about last night with the graphic of her behind him and then making her stand there behind each judge ew. *CRINGE*

The results show
I don't know why or whatever but there seems to be no hype about it, not like there is with X Factor, and getting rid of 4 tonight was just too much.

Tonight's elimination(X4)
See I reckon Francis was second in the votes next to Jaz, but she was eliminated because Will chose Tyler [which I think was a terrible decision] Tom's decision was awful aswell- why have Leanne when he's got Ruth- they're practically the same?

Clothes Change
No-matter whose clothes they change there's no hiding the fact that the results show is filmed on saturday- WHY PRETEND!

I definately prefered the Voice in the auditions/battle stages but the live shows aren't that great :/

I hope next year they start it a bit earlier so it wont clash with BGT.

Can have the performances and results in one show then.

It was SOOOOO cringy. Like they then had her in a spot-light and everything-it was so bad. + all the judges were like- aw omg so cute! It was one of the most awkward moments ever!

I don't like the teams format, well I like them being teams and being coached, but I hate the mass culling.

Just have all the teams perform on one show, for the first two live shows have double eliminations with the bottom 2 being eliminated, if that means 4 members of one team is eliminated in the second show, it's deserved for it being so weak.

I know it seems like there has been a 'mass culling' this weekend- and some artists [Francis] would not have gone this early if it wasn't due to this. It really annoys me because after next weekend we'll be left with 8 left and then they'll probably do more double eliminations!

I agree as to the mass culling, 2 acts out from only 4 is way too many in one go.

I know, and the fact we only got two performances from her is very silly, she had at least another couple of performances where she could have been current and we didn't get to see it, like we don't get many of the contestants best, because they go early on after very few performances... 4 go in the semi final as well, it's just too much IMO... it's like they are in a rush to finish it, when it should be paced, all perform, lose one/two a week.

No. After that it's the semi final, and 4 are eliminated and then we're straight into the final. There's only 3 weeks of the series left and I appreciate them not dragging it out like X Factor. There's always a good 6 weeks in the middle of X Factor that gets repetitive and boring.

Do you mean the show's time or the actual date?
To be fair to them ITV changed BGT's schedule to make it clash with The Voice.

The date, so we could have the whole show in one or they could have live results etc... I think that's one of the main problems atm.

I think ITV are to blame, moving BGT forward.

The Voice needs to start in January next year and run till the end of March, and then BGT can return to its regular April start.

One of the biggest issues this show has is the alternating format they have during the live shows, it doesn't work from a continuity point of view. It's difficult to keep track of contestants, pick and choose favourites etc. When you compare it to BGT where each act only gets three performances, yet it's much easier to follow their progress, there's a serious problem.

It's a shame they can't have a simple elimination format similar to X Factor where one/two leave each week from random teams (i.e. one team could keep four acts, while another ends up with 1 at some point), that's the kind of system the works the best in reality.

But that system is pretty much X Factor's format. No doubt Cowell and company would have something to say about that.

I prefer the "diluted" format, it's over quicker and you don't have a chance to get really sick of it.
