They're paid for on a fortnightly basis so two probably:

But I don't think it will start to the 10th.

Thats what i thought so i wish people would stop moaning that Channel 5 aren't bothering to advertise BB.

I'm confident we'll be seeing billboards soon.

Cant see it starting on the 10th though? Thats a Sunday.

CBB7 started on a Sunday and Channel 5 decide the dates not Endemol so what happened on Channel 4 doesn't really matter.

People saying that there should be billboards by now, the presenters have repeatedly said on twitter that a start date hasn't been decided so how can they print billboards without a date? Don't panic. Theres still time.

And to the people convincing themselves that channel 5 has a vendetta to destroy normal bb, grow up. This is a big money tv show. Not your average daytime decorating show. At the end of the day, big brother is not just a tv show, it's a business and they need to
make money from it. If they just want celebrity big brother, that's all they would pay for and not waste a multi million pound contract on a show they're just trying to destroy.

The start week HAS been decided, but no-one is saying.

Unless the hosuemates' loved ones spill the beans.

Channel 5 are still deciding on a date because they don't want to clash with competition from rival channels according to Jamie east on twitter.

Channel 5 are still deciding on a date because they don't want to clash with competition from rival channels according to Jamie east on twitter.

The Voice (at Elstree) finishes on June 2nd.

The Apprentice will likely finish screening on June 3rd.

BB 2012 will start after those.

Jamie East, like the other presenters & crew, has a contract and will be told the start date but that date is embargoed until the TV listing are published 2 weeks before launch.

Do we even need billboards? Yeah it's a nice adddition for the fans but the rest of the public know it's back on C5 now and they're either gonna watch it or not...

Yes we do coz its all publicity for the show.

Billboards are a big deal when it comes to advertising.

I've never actually seen a billboard for BB.

I guess they just save it for big cities

This story ran 10 days before launch last year:

http://tellymix.co.uk/reality-tv/big-brother/40640-channel-5-run-big-brother-billboard-ads-with-the-wrong-launch-date.html

Not sure how many days it took anyone to notice the start date was wrong.

And Channel 4's last series was billboarded at least 17 days before launch (the posters did not specify the exact date):

And you couldn't get Channel 4 anywhere in Wales till Sky. I didn't get Sky till BB5 so had to watch BB1-4 at 11pm on S4C.
