Dear Dan

Thank you for your most recent enquiry regarding Big Brother.

There are no plans to provide a daily live feed online or on television this year. However, following the live feed programme transmitted during Celebrity Big Brother in January, we anticipate that a similar programme will be broadcast at certain times e.g. on eviction nights. Further information will be made available when the schedules are confirmed and we suggest keeping an eye on our website for updates.

Although it doesn't rule out the live feed as a whole, it just says there's no plans for a daily one. We might still end up with one a couple of days a week or something. But even so it's still ridiculous they're being so reluctant about it.

So even after 1 million people tuning into the live feed for 1 hour in January proving that there is demand for it you're still not bringing it back full time?


It's embaressing that the United Kingdom is the only BB in the world not to have a live feed.


Why is there no plans for bringing it back because the social network replacement hasn't worked seeing as we got like 3 videos a day and had to sit through adverts to even watch them. You must be getting so many angry e-mails from fans in regards to this?


The only reason i can see for not bringing the feed back is so you can have total control of manipulating editing to make the show more entertaining than real which is not what the fans want.


Good luck with this years regular series because i last years wasn't exactly a ratings hit (1.7 million average is embaressing for BB) and this is due to lack of live feed, its what made BB unique from any other contrived "reality" show out there.

No actually its because theres no ****ing live feed that we have nothing to talk about because we have no idea whats going on in the house apart from like 3 1 minute videos from the BB website which even then we have to sit through adverts just to view them.

Thats why the forum is dead.

You will never win this argument.

Most of us want live feed back and if you dont wanna hear me ****ing whinging then dont come into the thread or block my post its simple.

Ive been really supportive of Channel 5 BB12 was one of the best in ages but lacked something without live feed because we couldnt really get to know the housemates as much as previous years and their advertising and effort put into the house is amazing it just seems lazy that there no lf.

The only reason i can think not to have it is so they can manipulate the editing and make it more "entertaining" than real.

Daniel's right. It's no coincidence that this forum was dead during the days of BB12 last year, and the only activity came about at night. Without live feed there's **** all to discuss during the day, and as some others have mentioned, being the only Big Brother in the world to not have a live feed (the entire premise of the show) is simply embarrassing.
