COD is not text talk.:joker: It is a very commonly used acronym, particularly in the Delivery Business world.

FYI... every single home delivery place where I live happens to take the order, and you pay the driver when they deliver.

I live in a place that we are honest enough for delivery places to take that risk.

Well funnily enough i dont work for in the delivery Business world.

Where the hell do you live? LOL! You actually think you can order a product from a big company and they would be stupid enough to send it out without you paying?

Like i said there was no need to be so rude in your post we dont all live in the back of beyond where everyone knows everyone! Some of us live in London.

I cannot honestly think of one food delivery place here that demands money up front where I live. Not one.

From Indian, Chinese, Chippies and even Dominos pizza..... none of them request money prior to delivery.

Okaaaayyyy we get it, it wasn't food. I still think you should file a complaint with them - if you've paid for express delivery of some kind then you've been let down, and presumably inconvenienced by their delay?

Especially when you pay for a service which they dont provide and send absolutley no correspondence with apologies or even acknowledge your email asking for an explenation.

Amazon I believe use companies that are part of the HDN - and some that fall under that umbrella have one of the most appalling service levels.

If anyone can avoid the HDN network - avoid it!

Okay. Simple answer.

No - I don't hate it when this happens. There could be a very good reason - such as the delviery driver having been in a serious accident.

I'd wait till I found out the reason for the delay before I decided to fume about it.

Royal Mail are the ones who annoy me, I have to say mostly it is CDs I order and companies get them to me in the time they state.

Royal Mail however, have on 2 occasions now failed to deliver a special delivery package for me to home, considering the price of them and that they should be delivered in a specific time frame too the next day,it is really annoying that they didn't arrive on the day specified.

Yes,I would be angry if I was told something was coming,( which I had paid for), say on a Saturday and I waited and waited but it didn't. Actually I would be furious.

I once ordered food (takeaway) and it took ages to come to me to the point I had to ring them up two times. I was fuming but I can't complain properly because I feel awkward. Last night me and my mates ordered a curry for the footy and it took almost 2 hours. /sob

And then my online food shops hardly ever come on time, despite paying maybe around £5/6 for my 'time slot'

Eventually, after they did a so called investigation, it took 21 days after they agreed to refund to get the funds back though, I am still waiting to hear the outcome of the 2nd one that didn't get there in time, you have to wait until they say they are satisfied it went wrong,it really made me angry.

Not quite the same premise as what Daniel is speaking of...... as you will have seen from his earlier replies to me.......... takeaways round here don't ask for money up front before delivery. ;)

If it doesn't arrive: you don't pay. So it's not the same at all.

I am aware of all of this.

I'm 26 years old, i know how to contact a company having worked in call centres previously i also know they will say anything to fob you off including sending out generic emails saying "thanks for contacting customer support we will deal with your enquiry and a member of our team will get back to you as soon as possible" then you never hear off them again.

Stop with the advice i have tried every angle and nothing works, tracking says its been shipped and thats it.

Im not wasting a penny on calling some call centre when its their mistake and they should reply via email.

Sarah is a dog!

TBF, I didn't see your issue as a problem - merely an inconvenience which riled you somewhat. I still think you should try the online 'ask Sarah' help - it just might be able to start the ball rolling into your enquiry - rather than an email that will initially have generated an automated response, that you may wait days for a reply to.

No need for that.

It's was a civil question: I can understand you being very annoyed, and being riled; but if it was a problem it not arriving, I'm not understanding why you wouldn't want to take up the online assistant help...... for the reasons I gave a post or two ago?

Surely that would make sense, especially when you're online now. I understand not wanting to pay some call centre: but it's an online immediate help, that could possibly answer your query now - rather than waiting for someone to get around to replying to your email?
