Jessie J is said to be thinking about quitting The Voice UK.

The 'Price Tag' singer apparently wants to focus solely on her music after tiring of claims that she acts like a diva on set.

"Maybe it's time for album number two and a lot less bull. I can't seem to win. I'm not sure I want to come back to this," the Sunday Mirror claims Jessie J told a friend.

BBC One controller Danny Cohen has reportedly offered to double her £200,000 salary next season amid growing concerns over the show's ratings.

"The show is in turmoil and needs to keep somebody like Jessie who attracts kids who will vote. Danny's told Jessie he wants her back and he can offer her more. He is aware she is not happy with the show and the backlash against her," a source said.

"She just thinks maybe it's best that she concentrates on her second album and doesn't get too wrapped up in The Voice, especially if it's damaging her reputation.

"Jessie doesn't need to make a decision yet but she's considering her options. She doesn't want people to forget she's a singer."

Fellow coach Sir Tom Jones admitted that it would be "a lot easier" for him to return for a second series if Jessie J does, as the pair get on well.

Host Holly Willoughby dismissed claims that The Voice UK is in crisis and said people shouldn't think Jessie J is a "nightmare" just because she is a "strong woman".

"I'd love to come back. I would be gutted if [Jessie J] left - she's my favourite judge," Willoughby told the Daily Star Sunday. "I hold her responsible for being the gel that holds the panel together so well. She's just *dedicated and passionate."

Good, I hope she leaves. I think she's got a bad attitude and I certainly wouldn't be sad to see the back of her. They can replace her with Marina & the Diamonds :amazed:

Tom Jones said he would quit if Jessie wasn't to return. He was on the radio the other day.

Neither of them would be a major loss tbh.

I really don't get why people are hating on her so much? Is it a new trend?

I've never liked her actually but since becoming a coach on The Voice she's become even more unbearable. She comes across as very arrogant and I think she's annoyingly overrated.

I think they are actually embarrassed at how much of a flop the show has turned out to be - and probably wish they'd never 'bought' into it.

Jessie is the only one who isn't 100% positive about everything so that isn't good news. I didn't even watch it this week.

Im a fan.

Although I heard she might be axed because she said some parts of the show were lame, rather than her deciding to quit or not.

Every show struggles in it's first season, it's how they pave over the cracks that's important.

What they know:

Audition stages - Entertaining - Keep
Battle rounds - Decent enough - Keep
Live shows:
Tension - Terrible - Improve
Coaches - No enough chemistry/entertainment - Improve
Results show - Ridiculous - Make it live next year.

and so on and so forth. Also think Reggie needs changing, not sure who to replace him with, but replace him.

Next year expect D-list judges

She made a point last night of saying that she had "been told" to explain more about the words she used when commenting on performances. With reading stories every week about them being reprimanded for one thing or another, it seemed to me she may be jaded by some of the politics of the show that may be created from the powers that be. I just wonder if she is getting cheesed off with the whole thing. I don't have a problem with her, and she does not come across as arrogant to me at all.

Always expected she'd leave so it wouldn't be suprising. Can see most of them going now actually.

Not every new show is bankrolled by the TV licence payers to the tune of around a reported £22 million though and fails as miserably as The Voice has.

I'm the total opposite. I think Reggie's proven to be the much better host than Holly in this show, and he's been vastly underused.

Don't get me wrong, I like Holly, but he has so much more personality and rapport with the contestants in the V Room and I think it's time they let him have a go at the on-stage role and see how he does, Holly just isn't working as well.

The V Room in itself is pointless, why do we need to know what's trending on Twitter or what celebs are saying about the show? Surely Twitter users will be able to see for themselves what people are talking about and shouldn't have to rely on The V Room to tell them.

I think it's fairly obvious that she's over the show, she leaked who got through from last night by posting a picture on Twitter.

An entirely different argument. The fee of the show doesn't take away from the fact that the majority of these types of shows need re-tweaking in the second season, which was the point i originally debating with you with. I'd say they are generally satisfied with the 10mill they were getting for 3/4 weeks and now the 6mill average. It was never going to stay at 10mill throughout the series.

It is not an entirely different argument - it is a valid point.

It is very much the case - if the BBC want to spend that amount of money from TV Licence payers - they need to ensure it is a winning formula - they are at least 8million viewers down for it to come even close to be regarded as a success.
