A man in Tyumen, Siberia had to be rescued after jumping into a metal rubbish chute to avoid his angry girlfriend.
The 31-year-old managed to get stuck after plunging three floors in the chute, located in his apartment building.
BBC News reports that the incident happened late on Wednesday (May 16).
The unnamed man, who lives on the eighth floor, soon made cries for help that were heard by other residents of the apartment block.
Rescue workers then arrived on the scene to cut the man free from the chute. He was not seriously injured and is now back at work.
Metal rubbish chutes are often a feature of Soviet-era apartment blocks in Russia. They are situated in the stairwell of the building, with each floor having access to them.
