Most Memorable Thread(s)?

Which threads stand out in your memory from the duration of your time as a Tibb member.

The ones that come to mind for me are Turtle's leaving thread, Kerry's little things that make you smile, The random picture thread, and OF COURSE, Karl's drunken lovefest

Yours?

I remember one about a member having a bath when the BB 2010 house pictures were released. Can't remember the details but everyone found it highly amusing.

Redway: I will apologise upfront to you - but I've got to say this one:

I know you've more than repented - and now that it's a long time since your daftness: and I am hoping you will see the humourous side to some of the comments now that you've left that daft boyishness behind..... but this has got to be one of the best - for some of the funny comments. :)

Absolutely no offence meant and I meant that truly Redway.

The only other one was late at night - when the Vietnamese Dong began getting discussed on some random thread - that and Redway's are two of the funniest ones that stick in my mind.

Don't worry about it. Everybody knows that I was a truly ****zed up troll in my early days. It's still embarrassing, but I don't blame you all for doing that. I actually don't know what I was thinking. I was actually a ****. :joker:

I'm glad you've taken it in good spirit  - you have been very forthright about being a 'plonker' so all credit to you for that!! Some of the comments still make me laugh.

Had a look for it but can't find it. IIRC, it was closed as it was 'way off topic' - but I didn't think it had been deleted.

It WAS so funny and the daft humour came out out the blue as well..... them were the days.

They're normally announced a while in advance.

It's one of those threads that is meant to be all in fun, when really, it's a way to rip the arse out of fms on the 'pretext that it's all in good humour' .... massively large pinches of salt to be taken during it.

It is FAF though - some of the categories are uniquely brilliant and it IS really funny! :D

There are lots of memorable threads for serious and fun reasons that I have really enjoyed being part of however there was one and I cannot find it, it was in serious issues and was a thread made by Angus when she was Angus58,I think in 2010, it dealt with abuse of children and a lot of issues got covered in it, the thing about is was it went on for ages, pages and pages of it and it was mentioned as a remarkable thread for so much involvement by members and its duration.

I am still looking for it but it was a truly amazing thread made by Angus in my opinion.

edit:- I have found it, it was 'sexual abuse of a 5month old baby' made on 6th October 2010, by Angus,it ran for 31 pages. It is definately the one I recall the most of all my time on here anyway.

Well, it'd be stupid me trying to deny being an absolute twat or 'plonker'. Seriously, it really was a disagrace - my status had been absolutely crumbled at that point (and it wasn't good to start with) and it still hasn't fully recovered till today. I suppose there will always be a few on here who will still judge me based on my first stint, but hey. Life ain't always perfect.
I think I deserve SOME credit for making that a truly memorable thread....

My most memorable thread is probably Harry's (or Post_Spice as he was known back then) graphic shop. I look back on it every once in a while and lots of the posts still make me laugh even though it was made years ago.

Another one that stands out is the "My presents to you" thread yet again made by Harry where he gave lots of members personalized avatars, albeit some members who didn't get an avatar kicked up a fuss and started requesting them and I remember the whole thread ended up going off-topic around halfway through and by the end of it people were discussing Woolworths, of all things. Very funny thread.
