R-A-C study 23.5.12

times are hard,
a fall in the book of face, (facebook shares fall)
this will not deter,
even while driving they will trace.
people and phones stick,
it is a addiction,
"my phone is going",
excuse me for this contradiction.
work is always with us,
24-7 and its mobile,
people and this mentality,
are audience and fans of Jeremy Vile.
should health and safety enter,
on all mobiles put a warning,
do people need to be told,
is this topic so yawning.
think about it and tell me,
i am just on the M25 in a tale-back,
and when i get out from all this rumble,
guilt,me and my phone will get on track.

(as i have wrote quite a few poems on facebook and twitter i am sure you all can remember i am no fan of these - and now accidents are being proved to people using them - is this proof reliable ?)

At least WATERHOG actually makes threads that a worth a click on. I'm not the guy's greatest fan, but you are the last person to be taling about being lazy. Seriously, just leave him alone.

If he doesn't want nor have to post a link, why should he?

Quite frankly his ''poems'' are dire. The spelling is atrocious.

I agree, but I was talking about the link business.

ok i will provide a link,
if it means i wont sink.
the link is not for most,
and some will not want toast.
but where you end you will enjoy,
because a spell checker i will employ.
and someone to help me with my crime,
to put a end to making things rhyme.
then we will all be happy and smell a rose,
and to redway i can poem propose.
thank you for your defence but please restrain,
because what ever is said, can never cause Joe pain.
i have been on here for years as i did discover,
while watching the best thing on TV big brother.
and its starting soon soon so i best prepare,
thisisbigbrother.com is the most friendly community to poem share.

(thank you very much redway - i hope i have not offended you with this joke poem. please please please don't worry what's said about me and my poems - there is noone thicker then me - or is that thick skinned. have a good day redway and thanks.

I'm with Arista and Glenn on this.

I'm sick to the back teeth of pish poor prose being used to say what could be said in a few sentences.

Everyone else is required to follow the rules of posting.

Now whilst this rule below doesn't state that you cannot constantly post in poetry style: Joe/Waterhog's posting style most definately looks bad as well as being hard to understand.

Do not post all in capital letters, or use txt speech. Not only does it look bad, it is also very hard to understand. You may get a warning for the first time you do this, but in general, threads like this will just be deleted. If it persists, infractions will be given.

I really don't care if I get a permaban for good for this, but is Tibb really that hard up for members that this is allowed to continue, especially given that the vast majority of threads raised by Waterhog are in the main, ignored. This is why they are. :conf:

The rule there is "don't post in capital letters or text speech", Pyramid, not "don't post things people might not understand".

i have to end as i am going senile,

http://www.stoppingdistances.org.uk/simulator/Stopping_Distances.html

Input your chosen speed, select your conditions and then click Run the Simulator.

My result :

You were driving too fast (45 mph) and using a mobile phone, so you hit the pedestrian.

The excessive speed increased both your thinking distance and braking distance. To make matters worse using a mobile phone distracted you, increasing the time it took to spot, and react to, the pedestrian. This meant that you were not able to stop safely when the pedestrian stepped out unexpectedly.

Thinking Distance: 29m.

Braking Distance: 31m.

Overall Stopping Distance: 60m.

Injury: Yes, the car hit the pedestrian.

In this scenario, the most likely outcome is that the pedestrian would be killed - only one in every ten pedestrians would not receive a fatal injury.

it does make me cringe when I see the terrible spelling and grammar, but he's not the only culprit for that on here  and no point making him feel crap about it, as pointed out if you can't stand it, don't click on his threads. He's a nice enough chap and no harm in it, just expressing himself in his own way, hmmm. :)

umm, he does? evidence plzzzz.

From what i've seen, he just post's self righteous bad poetry more suitable for the Guardian than for a BB forum. Actually i think i have seen him post in the Guardian's comment section.

Posting POETRY instead of a COMMENT, is actually very obnoxious.

Ok, lets not turn this thread into a " have a go at Waterhog thread" If you don't like the way he posts, don't read his threads.

you have to admit it is obnoxious though... be real. Maybe from now on i'll just post all of my comments in trumpet form. I will play the trumpet badly for 2 minutes and then expect everyone to know what i meant. That would be the same thing.

Coming into someone's thread, when you have clearly stated you find said persons' threads intolerable :conf: (why are you in here then??) is actually very obnoxious.
