Jack Tweed is spared jail for breaching a court order

05th May 2012

JADE Goody’s widower Jack Tweed was spared jail yesterday for breaching a court order given after a bar brawl.

The ex-lag, 24, had filmed offenders at a probation meeting on his mobile phone and missed another appointment.

Prosecutor Linda Double told the court: “His mother contacted them to say he was unwell.”

She said he was late for another meeting and was “very stupid” to film the offenders.

Tweed, of Buckhurst Hill, Essex, admitted breaching the order at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court. He was sentenced to a further 20 hours unpaid work and must pay £50 court costs.

Last August he was sentenced to supervision and 100 hours unpaid work. He had admitted assaulting Tom Grantham, 21, outside a bar he co-owns with former The Only Way Is Essex star Mark Wright.

The should have banged up the scumbag with some hairy knuckle-draggers ..... :hmph:

As for his mum "ringing in" for Little Jack, 24 .....

Awwwww.

I don't get this bit? "The ex-lag, 24, had filmed offenders at a probation meeting on his mobile phone and missed another appointment."

JADE Goody’s widower Jack Tweed was spared jail yesterday after filming offenders at a probation meeting.

At first he denied taking the pictures on his mobile phone but later admitted it.

Tweed, 24, had been sentenced to 100 hours’ unpaid work for his part in a brawl. But he failed to turn up on the second day of unpaid work because he was unwell.

Linda Double, prosecuting, told Chelmsford magistrates that Tweed’s mother had contacted probation bosses to say he was sick and was warned they required confirmation.

But Marianne Ede, defending, said Tweed, of Buckhurst Hill, Essex, had food poisoning and did not go to a doctor so was unable to get a sick letter.

Regarding the filming, she said: “It was very stupid but he didn’t mean anything by it.”

He filmed them and didn't turn up the next day? I don't see the significance? Did they give him a death wish so he had to get his mummy to say he had tummy troubles?

I think they're separate incidents on different days but they're both indicative of his irresponsible attitude.
