Channel 5 have released this:
The daddy of all reality shows returns to Channel 5 this June for a summer-long run that will surprise and delight. The series will kick off with ‘classic’ Big Brother. More than 7,000 people auditioned to be a housemate this year resulting in a line-up that is entertaining, memorable and totally explosive. And, for the first time ever, the audience will be given the opportunity to pick a final ‘wild card’ housemate to enter the house in the first week. As always, Big Brother has plenty of twists and turns up his sleeve – but the housemates will also be shocked by some game-changing tasks throughout the run which will turn the house upside down. After the fun and games of a full classic run a new class of celebs will enter the house for ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ at the end of the summer. A stunning mix of stars is being lined up for the series. The weekly live evictions will once again be helmed by Brian Dowling. And to ensure viewers get an even better view into the housemates’ time in the house, live streaming will follow each eviction show. For 2012, the house has been completely renovated and redesigned.
