The housemates were decided months ago - thousands of great, amazing, normal, down to earth, funny people audition - and then a few of Britain's shallow bastards audition. And the producers decided right then, they would go in.

The producers also head hunt as in every other reality show.

I wouldnt give up hope, Charlie from BB10 didnt find out he was going in until the night before launch so fingers crossed.

i agree until you have been thru the audition process you cant image what it feels like it takes over your life.

You don't have to go to an audition to know that it's foolish to give up your life on the off chance you'll be chosen from the thousands to go into the house.

Maybe, maybe not. Plenty people in the last few series have said they've managed to read papers and go on the internet no problem while in hiding.

But, they definitely don't get sent abroad anymore.
