I mean lucky in the sense that Holland's finishing was pretty awful compared to what it usually is, RVP wasn't his usual self at all, and they were lucky to get away with the penalty shout toward the end :p

Holland were disappointing overall going forward, defensively and particularly RVP who did not have his shooting boots on. I agree about that penalty shout too!

Quality wise though Russia and Czech has been the best

russia game has been miles ahead but the Czechs have been awful. Holland game was very good. Poland match was two dodgy teams but was a good match.

I've seen clips of him for Cologne and he is a good player in RL and on FIFA:D.

Tbh I think Arsenal need to strengthen the defence if you are going to try and keep up with the 2 Manchester clubs next season.

Yeah Shaun, the deal was agreed a few months ago.

Yann M'Vila of France is heavily linked with Arsenal. He is a DM too, but you have Alex Song in that position?

Song's great but he needs a rest at times and M'villa will be a great signing. His type of player doesn't stand out he does all the dirty work plus his balls to Van persie for goals this year have been amazing.

Arsenal fans rate this guy highly and he looks promising from what I have seen, although there are some rumours that Barcelona are interested now but they've hardly got any cash to spend atm and the Spanish Government have had to lend money too.

Barcenlona don't need him thats the thing too. They never cease to amaze me. I think he sign for us but we have to pay big bucks for him. He's like a Roy keane type of midfielder.

Indeed and I have read a few Arsenal forums *brave* and Twitter to see some reactions and it is frustrating for the fans that he feels that way because Arsenal in the days of Henry and co were class and never gave up!

Wenger should man up and take a gamble, spend **** loads this summer on Gotze, Dzagoev (and no I'm not just saying him because of yesterday), keeping RVP, a new CB like Hummels or Vertonghen, and a quality LB. If it doesn't get us anywhere, the club doesn't buy any more players for a few years until we're financially steady again.

Although depending on Koscielny's performance next season, Verminator and him could do fine.

Dzagoev's contract is up in a few months apparently according to some Journalist United fan I follow on Twitter.

RVP's dad said that it is likely that his son will NOT join Manchester City but you never know, the lad is at the age now that he needs to win trophies but Arsenal is the right club for him even if you have not won anything in 7 years.

its the fact he buys awful players and might out 6 signings one ends up doing the job. He doesn't go out and sign big players to show that we mean business. Thats what kills me.

Most of the money is probably going on paying off the stadium but in the long term future there will be money there to compete because I do not know if the sugar daddy owners of Chelsea or Manchester City will get bored at some point?

I don't think Shava hated it here, he just found no form in 2011 and got annoyed. He shouldn't be playing on the left wing though, he should play as an attacking centre mid like he did for Zenit.

Walcott's good though, was incredible sometimes last season, just not consistent enough. I liked the Ox at centre mid against AC Milan, maybe he should be played there for a while if Wilshere's still not back for the start of the season or Ramsey has a crap year again.

This is a team who lost to greece and struggled in their group. Good team but been overrated by a lot of people.

Ireland have the best team spirit and won't go down as easy as a lot on this forum think. Watch the game with the Russians in Moscow. excellent stuff.

No, we have Nani, Young, Tony V, Giggsy and Park who can all play there. He will be playing in the hole behind the Striker I think, which is a player that United needed last season and that position is where Kagawa is at his best.

Spures will have a massive clearout this summer. Can't see Modric staying or Van der Vaart plus Bale must be on the edge of leaving. They let go their best defender.

Spurs will kick themselves at the fact that they messed up that big lead. It was the draw vs Villa that put the final nail in the coffin for their 4th place bid.

I think that Spurs did not expect Villa to put up a fight that day and were surprised at Villa getting a draw despite being dominated overall in play.
