Welllllllll? Never experienced it myself, although I know plenty who have, obviously...

I just have to ROFL at a load of people who you'll always find in the summer practically half naked looking as if they're actually going to make the most of the sun but you can bank on them all doing an extended 'Spanish Fiesta' until the next day. Snoring their arses off from 2pm.

The only time I ever got sunburnt was when I was skiing, wore my sunglasses but forgot my sunblock. I spent three weeks looking like a panda. Attractive...

Too busy being a hermit to go out in the sun

Nah..... if anything, I tend to put too much lotion on and higher a factor than I really need.

Had my taste of sunstroke too many times thanks to parents who thought Ambre Solaire Sun Oil (no factor) was just the dab hand in the searing heat of Saudi Arabia, and letting me loose snorkelling for hours. Ahhhh.... the 70's ... so much fun!

I would've taken advantage of the 'once in a while' sunshine but what with all these A-levels and that I can't. :( Can't wait until study leave, where I can actually do what I want to do. :D Who knows? I might actually go to either Crosby or Formby beach with a mate or two and experience sunburn for itself.

Revise outside. Lay on a sun bed with your books and have a read :amazed:

That's what I was gonna do but didn't get round to doing.

I just don't revise that much for study leave. I obviously do revise, but I spread it out so I can actually relax.

Absolutely gorgeous here in Scotland at the moment. Sunshine and hot, hot, HOT!! But no, I am not sunburnt. I wear far too high a factor of sun lotion and too aware of the risks to let it happen. Plus, I have very, very fair skin so much so most of my family and friends refer to me as Snow White lol!

I have however seen a few folks these past few days who are bright red....putting tomatoes to shame they are :)

Where in Scotland are you that it's sunshine and hot, hot, hot at the back of 1am !! :D

I'm kidding! I know you meant daytime (unless you have found some hidden enclave - if so, I'm moving there!).

It's been glorious the past 10 days or so - but it's not so nice today - and yes, the amount of people I've seen bright red..... !!! Dafties! lol

I knew I'd be out a lot and I burn ridiculously easy so I done the uncharacteristically responsible thing and caked myself in sunscreen.

We only got one or two bright days of sun but I lived in Fionn Barra's beer garden. It was an awesome thing.

I guess the best thing about when the sunshine goes it will be clear to us if we have caught the sun or not. If the skies are grey then it will stick out more.

ROFL. You've been on here a day and I already like you. It's just so nice to have a new member who doesn't just disappear after their introductory thread and has the potential to be an amazing FM.

Thanks Redway...in time I think you might be trying to sweep me under the carpet. At the moment I'm just reading a lot...soon, I might not shut up :P
