Anyone got anything special planned for the extended Weekend Celebrations?

Same old same old for me really, not a fan of bank holidays really anyway. Unless you've got.plenty money to splash, there's sod all to do.

I'm going to a jubilee street party on Sunday afternoon which should be something different, then onto a bbq at my local pub. :)

Our village did a garden golf tournament for the wedding last year where a few houses turn their gardens into golf holes for the day and we're doing it again for this jubilee on Monday, coming home from Uni on saturday and playing cricket on sunday as well so should be a good weekend

I do personally agree with Patrick on this as I'm anti royal and although I do like Will and Kate as people, the rest can boil their heads.

Monday's the Jubilee Concert by the BBC and Gary Barlow isn't it? Think it all starts on Sunday.

I'm trying to persuade my mum to take us down to London this weekend. I wanna see the Olympic stadium/site, go to the new Westfield in Stratford and see some of the Jubilee stuff.

A Tuesday launch is just tremendous! I dont work or have to do anything on a Tuesday night! Woo!

Yeah! And we have a super extended one! The schools are off here Monday Tuesday and Wednesday then we're off to Turkey on Thursday for a fortnight!

Our street usually have street parties for crap like this but there hasn't been any mention of it this year so I don't think we will be. Just an ordinary day for me anyway, not bothered about it. Will go out for a drink if anyone else is like, but that's about it.
