Sources directly connected to Matthew Fox tell TMZ ... the actor has never beaten a woman in his life, contrary to the allegations made by his "Lost" co-star Dominic Monaghan.

As you know, Monaghan tweeted the allegation, claiming Matthew "beats women. not isolated incidents.often ..."

Our sources say Fox and Monaghan have not spoken for years, and they never had any sort of blowout argument so it's baffling to Fox as to why Dominic would go on such a rant.

A female bus driver accused Fox last year of punching her in her vagina. Fox denied the allegation and no criminal charges were filed.

I remember him being arrested for drunkenly trying to get on a party bus but got let off. It's obvious he has serious alcohol issues. I'm sure there were some rumours about problems he caused on the Lost set in its later years.
But, it's pretty random for Dominic Monaghan to come out with that. Especially after all this time why start spouting now?

He was always very bitter about being killed off.

I know Terry O'Quinn didn't get on with Matthew Fox that well and Adewale (Eko) either, and most of them didn't get on with Michelle Rodriguez. Naveen Andrews didn't like the show either, as far as I know he only ever watched the Pilot

Oh wow - it's actually sort of sad to hear of all this - it feels like when you hear how people who were friends during Big Brother no longer speak. Do you know if Terry O'Quinn got on with the rest of them? As for Michelle Rodriguez, she's the one that played Ana-Lucia right? Apparently she got killed on the show because she was caught drunk-driving during filming season. The last part about Naveen Andrews is a real shame though! Do you have a source for that? It's really bizarre to imagine how he could continue playing Sayid for 6 years whilst not liking and not watching the show :shocked:

I don't remember Naveen Andrews hating the show in general. On Jonathan Ross (I think around season 4) he said he's incredibly proud to have been a part of the show and loves the first 2 seasons but the show had gone in a direction that he didn't like. Had a bit of a rant about not having much to do in the later seasons aswell.

Which I agree with, not enough Jin, Sun and Sayid in later years.

I know Terry O'Quinn got on really well with Michael Emerson (Ben), they're still mates now and want to work together again. He got on well with Josh Holloway (Sawyer) and Evangeline Lily (Kate) aswell, not sure about the rest.

I don't think naveen not watching lost means he doesn't like it. I know of a lot of actors who don't like/perfer not to see their work back. They're human, and just like us, probably cringe when they see themselves or hear their voice on camera.

My thoughts exactly. I found lost (sorry) for the first time back in march and am just about to start season 5. Amazing show and Jack was one of my favourites but after seeing him in interviews, and his persona out of the show it has really put me off him.

Matthew Fox has declared that he has never been violent towards women in the past.

Former Lost co-star Dominic Monaghan alleged to a Twitter follower in May that Fox "beats women", while last year the actor was accused of assaulting a woman outside an Ohio bar, but criminal charges were never brought against him.

Speaking to Men's Fitness, Fox set the record straight, explaining: "It's been a long, trying year of sitting on my hands on a lot of negative s**t said about me, when they're the furthest things from who I am.

"In the 46 years I've been breathing on this planet, I have never hit a woman before. Never have, never will.

"I think there's still gonna be a lot of people out there who'll think it's true no matter what.

"The Cleveland situation, the Monaghan situation - was a pile of bulls**t, and I'm not gonna waste too much breath on that."

Since 1992, Fox has been married to wife Margherita Ronchi, with whom he raises two children.

I recently read an interview with Dom (Didn't mention Matthew or anything) But he has that blunt almost agressive style the same as his tweets. Couldn't imagine him being a bit of an idiot in person
