I don't know.
I didn't realise how much I loved them until I'd left but I'm still only 21.
I'll probably be able to answer in 10 years.

The later years of school definitely, yeah. So far anyway
Yeah, you pretty much have no responsibilities or anything

Yes, easily, got on with mostly everyone at school, floated between groups and never got bullied. no responsibilities apart from handing homework in on time. That was the life

I think they are the easiest days of your life, barely any responsibilties, no hard graft work etc. but I dont think they will be my best days, I look forward to exploring whats out there and being able to do more what I want to do.

Primary school was the ****. After that it was pretty lame.

Well I only left 2 years ago but so far definitely. I was actually near my old school the other day and they've demolished loads of it to make way for a new building, it was quite sad to see tbh.

I'm only 22 so I can't speak with much conviction but from what little life experience I have I'd agree. I think I was one of the few people who actively enjoyed school whilst I was there and in hindsight. I miss skiving lessons and going to the sports fields to listen to music and hang out, and taking afternoons off to party... and the academic side too, sure

School, for the most part, was pretty ****ty. Still got uni to experience though.
Things like pursuing a career that I enjoy, travelling around, experiencing things I could never do as a student while stuck at a school, sounds miles better. Less responsibilities at school, but a lot less freedom too.
To me, if you're on your death bead looking back at life and consider your schools years to be the best, you really ****ed up in the latter stages of your life. You didn't pursue any dreams you may have had, experienced everything that being an adult lets you. There's so much to see and do.
idk, I just think it's a crappy attitude to have.

its kind of depressing to think like that but yeah
its like hey we have left school now nothing will ever be as good so we should all kill ourselves

I'd say so. Like others have said, there's no real responsibility. I actually don't want to leave school. Everything's so easy right now and once I leave, life will just get much more complicated. :bored:

You have the majority of your life to do what you want... how doesn't that excite anyone?
Don't you have any aspirations?
I don't get it...

That's why I think school isn't the best part of my life, it's too depressing to think that it was, it's like having no hope.

Deffo the best days. I just left a couple of months ago but when I think back to all the stuff that happened I don't think it can be topped unless I get into uni next year and after that it will probs just be meh.

I got bullied, had several breakdowns, failed my subjects, only got along with three of my teachers. So no, were they **** the best days of my life.

There were likely many things I would have rather been doing but school was great for me and I had really good friends all through so I voted yes.
Best days of my life though are when I am with my family and close friends really.

Absolutely!
As I said in another thread, you don't realise it until you've left.
No worries, loads of mates, having fun and just enjoying yourself. It seems just so easy looking back. I loved school.
Once everyone ends up going to different uni's you see a handful of them every now and again on reading weeks etc but in the end you inevitably lose touch.
I'd love to just go back for a week as I am now!
Don't get me wrong I love my life NOW also, but I adored school days.

From the social aspect, I would do it so differently if I were to rewind and do it again.

It doesn't excite me because of all the responsibility and complications life after school brings. You have to worry about going to Uni, or getting a job if you don't do that amongst a billion other things.
And my aspirations are too far fetched for me to achieve anyway.

I wish I stuck out at college for the social side of things. Nevermind... Training for a voluntary PCSO now which I think will provide me with my best days so far

Sorry to read you had such a bad time at School, Black Dagger, I would have hated the scenario you mentioned.
There was bullying at my School, which was largely ignored by the Teaching staff,I was well away from it though and had really good friends around me thankfully.
We did help a lad get things sorted out who was being bullied though.

School can be a very harsh place. Wasn't too difficult to me but there were issues

agree with those who said you only realize it once you've peaced. I'm 22 and I personally feel uni's a bit overrated, particularly in North America - it's just like those American Pie-esque movies you see on the tele. School days were the best, hands down.

The people who voted "yes" will presumably become the patrons of that shIte website "Friends Renunited" come 2020.
As an oldie I can tell you that you'll either STILL be friends with a few good uns from yer kiddie days or else will look @ stuff like Friends Renunited and thank F you're not like them who want to keep contact as they have no life.
Maybe just my opinion, I'm going to see the Psychedelic Furs at the end of June with a mate I've known since 5 years old, going to visit a gal-pal I knew who currently lives 300 miles away, but less distance than when I visited her in Mauritius.
Other 'good buddies' I couldn't give a toss about.
