not at all. one of the worst songs I have ever heard.

Im talking about the bass in the production.

Its epic.

You probably have to have a knowledge for it to respect it.

Music production no.

Its such an epic bass almost gave me an orgasm.

If that was played in a club the floor would literally shake.

liking lowest-common-denominator basslines and being able to sense vibration =/= a knowledge of music production now underestimate me again over a Britney Spears track and I'll tear you a new asshole bitch

Sound engineering is an actual talent, yes its a simple bass but all im saying is its a ****ing banging bass and if i was in a club i would be bouncing on that dancefloor.

Just my opinion though.

I would be raving and i imagine you would be sat in your seat sipping on glass of pinot grigio and "tearing" everyone on the dancefloor a new asshole right?

Music is about enjoying yourself and maybe you need to let go.

I love all music from Buddy Holly, The Beatles, Sal Mineo, Elvis, The Bee Gees, Bonnie Tyler, Bon Jovie, Ozzy Osbourne, Sash!, Steps, Alice Deejay, Britney, Avril Lavigne, and Dido.

I appreciate it all.

Its fine if someone wants to limit themselves to "proper talent" but thats not what its all about when going out and having a good time.

Why do you need a knowledge of music production to appreciate it? I'm not taking a swing at cheap and easy basslines here - I've listened to so much progressive trance that I've practically gone insane - but it's something you can tap into FL Studio or any other workstation in about four seconds. It sounds like a generic pre programmed patch that came with Vanguard and there are ... two notes in it?

It doesn't take months of deep meditation or mouth to mouth from Brian Eno to 'tap in' to what a beautiful piece of production it is. Given that you built it up with it's own thread it's a crushingly by-the-numbers pop bassline. I love pop too and can appreciate music for the sheer fun of it but it doesn't change the fact that the song by and large sucks.

My general rule of thumb is that anything that features Will.I.Am in it is not worth listening to.
