Watching back on bits on youtube, was it really that bad? It did go downhill after q while, but to begin with it was good enough!

I never hated it all that much. I just enjoyed that summer as the final one. Much better than 4, 8, most of 9 and 10. For me anyway.

One of if not the worst set of housemates ever.

No it wasn't, I agree with you. It's wasn't an amazing series but it wasn't as bad as everyone always makes out either. After Caoihme walked I felt it went downhill, her and Shabby were my favorite housemates from BB11. The final was horrific though, worst one ever, none of those who made the final deserved to be there.

Quite liked it

I dunno, I liked BB12 but BB11 still felt like an event. I didn't mind the editing either and for some reason I liked some of the graphics and that.

It was alright. Sunshine, Ben, Caoimhe, Shabby, Rachel, Sam, John James, and Corin were good housemates, but the rest were all bore*****s and the final was a complete joke.
I thought it was good, had it's funny moments with Ben, Dave etc., had some decent arguments like Ben/Shabby, JJ/Rachel, JJ/Sam, and there were some decent tasks as well like the one where Andrew had to say yes to everything

The first week was ******ing fantastic.
After that? It was a disgrace. Thinking about it makes me ill.

No. The launch did.
Apart from that, no it didn't - all it was, was John James and Josie talking under covers. It was pathetic.
And the graphics were ugly. They didn't know whether they wanted a Funeral, Carnival or Circus theme - so threw all of them together and made a mess.
Locke.

It was good up until the point Ben left, I couldn't stick with it after that it became the Josie and John James show, which seemed to be even worse than all the Noirin crap the year earlier, and all the Aaron and Faye crap the year later

I said I liked the graphics, its called an opinion. And go and watch Rachaels eviction (week 1) then Tashies eviction and you tell me which one seems more like an event.

The eviction music was annoying as well.

I devoted my ******ing life to the show since 2002, probably know more about it than most people, defend it to the death, and have watched every episode - that was meant to be the last series.
Why on earth would I of not watched it? I sat through the shambles that was BB8. I could do the same for BB11.
I'm just saying - any real fan knows how sh*t it was, and that it was bad. It was a kid's show. BB12 was much, much better.
I also think it was a lot better than UBB, that really was dull, full of terrible housemates and they got rid of the best two in the first couple of days. I often forget that it actually happened

The first few days of UBB with Coolio was probably on the verge of beating BB9 for my favourite series, if only that beast hadn't got him kicked out

Save and Replace  Caoihme and Ife's row was brilliant, too.

The first 4 weeks were excellent and a lot of the older members who'd become alienated with the show were talking about it again... but then the focus shifted to Josie & John James, two of the most argumentative HMs walked (Shabby & Caoimhe) and the bitches/characters were evicted early (Govan, Sunshine)
it just became worse with every week. Ben being evicted... and then that quadruple eviction with Sam, Corin, John James all going...
the final 5 is, hands down, the worst final five in the history of the show. Mario and JJ did absolutely nothing, Dave was nice and kooky but quite uneventful, Josie only had the love story and her accent, and Andrew was too late to make an impact.
Yeah UBB did have potential with Coolio just destroying Nadia but it went terribly downhill once he left

Why can't you accept the fact that other people may have a different opinion to yourself? Just because you hated BB11 doesn't mean everyone did and it doesn't make anyone any less of a "real fan" for doing so. It was much better than BB8 and BB10 (which I find to be hideously overrated).

I love the simpsons... Doesnt mean you will find me watching any new episodes. And why are you swearing? Really, where is it getting you? Like you, I love the show, defend it at every opportunity. But if the series was THAT terrible in your eyes, why would you watch every episode, despite hating it? Ok, compared to others, it was hardly pure brilliance. But it was still one of the, if not the best shows to watch that summer. Unlike BB12 (which was good), it still seemed huge (despite the ratings), and I would genuinly look forward to watching each episode.

BB11 had great potential but as usual, with vote to evict the morons were let loose to destroy it.
Sam saved it towards the end but then the producers pulled the worst (and deliberate) stunt possible - that quadruple eviction on a vote to evict. Singlehandedly the worst idea in the history of the entire show, killing the potential for one of the best, most unpredictable finals of all time (John James, Sam, Corin, Josie and Dave/Steve) stone dead. I'll never get over that, a four way battle between the housemates with the most popular fanbases and we were denied that opportunity for that to happen. And why? All to engineer a Josie win.
That final week with Mario, JJ, Andrew, Dave and Josie was the dullest ever, and an absolutely pathetic excuse for the final ever C4 series of the show.

UBB could of been one of the greatest pieces of television in history. But they ******ed it up and did what CH5 are doing now, and arse licked Celebrities.
It was called 'Ultimate Big Brother' not 'Ultimate Celebrity Big Brother' - which is what they made it all about. There were more celebrities in it than normal housemates I think. And each and every one of them were dull bastards apart from Nikki, Coolio, Victor and Brian.
Not one Celebrity should of been allowed into that house apart from Coolio - because he deserved it. The rest of the cast should of consisted of housemates from BB1-BB10 and that's that.

I actually quite enjoyed UBB, but it should've been way longer. CBB length.
And the likes of Marcus, Freddie, Rex, Craig (BB6), Sam (BB11) should've been invited.

I agree with that list but I'd also add Charley (BB8) because it really needed a bitch to stir things up and cause arguments. Makosi was a let down because she had changed since BB6 and I actually found her really dull in UBB which is a shame because she was my favorite housemate of BB6.

Ah yeah, couldn't think of anyone from BB8 and she was probably the best option really.
I still liked Makosi in UBB, that reaction she had to the wasp stinging her was hilarious :joker: but nowhere near as good as she was in BB6, yeah. She definitely shouldn't have been evicted that night with Nadia though, that was dumb.

UBB should of replaced BB11 and ran the whole Summer. With far more housemates.
And I agree, it was sad seeing how much the old housemates had changed - Michelle Bass for example.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy BB11, even though it was a frustrating mess of a series and particularly towards the end with what they did to stop what could've been one of the best BB finals ever.
It was a mess for lots of reasons though with awful editing, too much outside contact, mostly dull new housemates and terrible twists, plus everyone got along too much. Save and replace was an interesting idea and that parrot Davina was a good idea which really should've been used properly:devil:, but it did have some great housemates imo and you knew you could switch live feed on at night and almost everyone wasn't asleep. Hated Shabby and Caoimhe at the beginning, then they were two of my favourites with Ben, Dave, Sunshine and Sam (should've been in from the beginning though). A shame those two walked one after the other. Opposite with John James though, liked him at the beginning and hated him towards the end. He was a great housemate though, but better without all that brown nosing JJJ borefest.
Not in the same league as my favourites BB6, BB10, BB9, BB5 and BB3, but an enjoyable series and I'm possibly the only person on the planet that's seen every series originally aired, that enjoyed it more than the most popular ever BB7.

UBB was a disgrace, a real shame they never did a BB All-Stars every 3 or 4 years instead of ZBB. The possiblities of what could've been with a BB All-Stars.

Loved Caoimhe and Shabby, made the series for the first few weeks. Caoimhe leaving was a disaster then Keeley going which made Steve alright for a while but then we were lumbered with the Josie show which was uninteresting. Hated all the finalists.

in regards to UBB, it was utter trollop.
the best HMs - John Mccririck,Coolio,Makosi and Nadia all went one after another. Nikki wasn't the same as before and the rest were dullards.
