8.

Would have been higher if it was shorter and less housemates.

Dragged on a bit.

Accidentally made the poll multiple choice when I meant to click the make votes public option urgh

Anyway I'd give it an 8, I thought it was brilliant!

6/10 - quite disappointed with the housemates. Brian was more bareable though which is good.

5/10 - nothing special, Brian as annoying as ever and not enough age variety. :hmph:

8. Great line-up, Brian was decent, the titles were nice and it got me excited! Also not many breaks. Or loads in at a time and then a break... either way it was fine. It was too rushed though in terms of not much LF being shown. Just ploughing through the housemates.

8/10. Would be higher if Brian wasn't so camp and had there been maybe 2-3 older housemates!

7/10. Brian has improved from last year. Felt like it was draggin on a bit at the end though.

Why have you made the poll options multiple choice? :conf2:

Anyway, I'll give it a 9. It was an excellent launch and the vast majority of the housemates seem rather interesting, upon first impression.

5.

Brian's skills have improved slightly.
The eye looked fantastic.

That was it.

There was no house tour.
The titles were horrendous, worst ever.
It dragged on, too many housemates in one night.
Brian kept flirting badly with them, it was creepy.
The ******ing show girls pissed me off, was there a need for that?
Brian kept recapping on the twist about 439843 times.

And, I watched the entire Big Brother 9 launch just before it. Which shows more than anything, why it was so horrible.

For sure a definate improvement on BB12, around a 7? needed a house-tour and why were there show-girls?

I thought 8/10.

Brian was much better this year. Really enjoyed it actually.

Would have scored higher if there weren't so many housemates, I too...felt like it dragged on.

7/10

Started off really good (forgetting the dancers) but dragged on and I got a bit fed up with the lack of diversity. Twist was ok but of course the result (Lydia being put up and almost certainly going) has pissed me off a little.

Simply because this is the first time I've felt like they really are destroying this show in front of our eyes. Like I said in that thread I made, when the dancers came out I almost spat my drink out at just how laughably camp it was, but there was also a hint of me laughing at just how pathetic the whole thing was. It was just...stupid.

And I just can't abide the music when they walk out, I miss the cars, the lack of live feed when the housemates go in etc. It feels like the show is slipping away right in front of us more than ever this year for some reason.

The housemates were the only saving grace I thought, there seems to be some real gems amongst a crock of sh*t.

Oh, right. :joker:

Can't you get a moderator/administrator to change it for you, though? I may be wrong but I think it's possible.

A 6. A part of me thinks it's the same old **** over and over again. But then after watching BBBOTS I am just realising we have got a diversity of housemates. Maybe too many generic good looking women. I mean having Rebecca thrown into the mix might give off a bit more realism to the show. Although I do like Anthony and the other guy. Will just have to see how tomorrow nights show turns out.

Alright but the contestants this year all seem pretty same'y

We are missing out on a rock and roll star. Maybe a guy with long hair like Kurt Cobain or a rocker type chick? These are the housemates we are missing. I think BB are trying their best putting a diverse bunch in though.

Just the women.. why do they all go in with short dresses?? I wanted someone going in funny in fancy dress. I think Grace from BB7 just went in with denim skirt and cowboy boots. Well suppose this doesn't matter but just hope it doesn't turn too generic.

Personally the 3 wildcards should all be in there and 3 of the generics or 1 or 2 of the lads should be OUT.

One of them auditioned. We seen a Kurt Cobain lookalike on the auditions show, of course Jamie didn't ******ing choose him.

We've never had a Metal Head, Rocker or a Punk on the show. Maybe Lisa and Marcus possibly, and if you want to include Stu from BB5 in a way. But apart from that..

Agree completely.
It's sad, it really is sad. My family - at one point told me to ****** up or leave the room.

Because things Brian was saying, the fact we got no house tour, certain housemates etc I was just shouting and stuff.

When the titles came on, my Mum's friend was like ':amazed: Here we go!' and I was like 'Oh Jesus.. what is this.' because I'm sorry, but those titles are the worst thing I've ever seen in my life. :bored: Words can't describe my hate for them, I don't care if the clouds aren't there or not.

And then of course, the showgirls came out dancing with Brian. I just shook my head and was like 'IS THERE A ******ING NEED FOR THAT? COME ON.' - you'd swear that I was talking to one of my friends at a party, who got incredibly drunk and begun making a fool of himself in every way possible.

And essentially to a big fan like myself [and you aswell Jack, thank ****** I'm not alone] - it is like watching something you love just making a mockery out of itself. It's unbelievable.

8, I think there are a good mix of housemates and I am looking forward to judging them over the next few nights.

Whatever I thought tonight could all be reversed and different in a couple of days,Brian was really good tonight too I thought.

I know what you mean, I didn't feel the same 'connection' with the show that I usually do, the whole thing has just become a complete parody of itself I think and the trouble is, I don't care how often its brought up but without live feed it's so difficult to forget these things. I said it the other day but I could just about put up with all this crap if they gave us the one essential thing we need - but without it we do have to watch it being destroyed, and it really is quite sad.

And for the first time I actually found myself questioning whether Endemol signing a contract with C5 for BB was a good thing or not. Because I really can't ever see the show we know and love returning, it's now just 'another TV show'. Essentially a TOWIE rip-off, and the trouble is once it's axed off C5, it's going to be extremely hard for it ever to be picked up again. And I shouldn't be thinking that at all. Sad times.

Oh dear sigh, a 6 at best.
Brain ordered to replicate Dermot's X Factor entrance, no no no :nono:
Hardly a culturally diverse range of housemates or age range!
No live feed at the end....

First impressions of the housemate's potential for major drama is the only hope. Then again no live feed long sigh.......
I'll still watch though
