Is there any point auditioning?

I ask this because all the housemates seem to have something that connects them to some form of the media. It looks like this is what viewers will be getting as housemates from now as it's what the producers want.

I feel bad for the "normal" people who audition and don't stand a chance. The Wildcard will be the only "normal" housemate, bar squeky voice. I guess why that's why they termed them Wildcard. Jamie did something right.

Quite alot of them, especially the models will just have their agents connected to the show to get them in. Doubt that many have to go through the prelims..straight into that fake-diary room bit
