I think its good that FB votes now cost ~the same as phone votes. last year phoning was quite useless because someone could cancel your vote with 7p

Well, it now means that the decent HMs aren't going to make the final and we'll most likely get a winner like Josie or Sophie, the forums were ruling last years :bored:

Hmm good point I guess.

I still think something had to be done though. Either the FB voting increased or the phone voting decreased.

Would it be too much to ask for the phone voting to be decreased?

Yes Big Error

But Endemol could not work a deal
with Facebook
that has lost millions in shares
due to the wrong original price frauds

Course they will. They voted before there was a 7p option.

Plus the majority who I know who voted via FB voted 10+ times in evictions. Those people can now just make 2 votes for the same cost...pretty sure they will still vote.

They arent going to lose much revenue from those who bought 10 FB votes at the start of the series and used one a week really

I reckon they will lose a reasonable amount. You had people voting hundreds of times, like myself, who will no longer be voting at all.

Should have highered them a bit to about 20p but highering it to almost 5 times the amount of last year is a bit stupid.. They'll probably lose out aswell even though they've highered the prices, I'd use £5 everytime my favourite was up last year cos they were so cheap an you felt like you could make a difference, won't be bothering this year though

I spent a bomb last year on facebook voting in normal and celeb BB(enough to give my hubby a heart attack if he knew how much ),as did a lot of people I know, they will lose money through greed, IMO they saw how popular it was and have decided to cash in, If we boycott it ,they will maybe rethink it

Yeah I won't bother now, voted about 50 times in the final last year but now I can only afford 10 votes for that it doesn't seem worth the cost

I won't be voting with that price hike on FB as has been said for a few pennies on FB you felt like you could make a difference but at that cost no way.

Does anyone know how many votes in total are actually recorded per eviction? I have never voted on any of these programs and don't really intend to. I'm quite interested to know the numbers though.

Why couldnt they have raised fb to, say 15p and lowered phone to 15p???? Doesnt even out exactly but enough to be fair.
