He seems to be milking the transgender thing for all it's worth, I doubt the HM's will nom him now and the public will most likely be on his side. Got this feeling he'll probably sail through.

it's possible it wouldn't be the first time a sympathy vote won BB

No. He'll get boring, maybe. If he doesn't get boring then it's possible.
If he keeps going on and on about it he probably will. You wait- Rebecca will waltz in on friday and Luke A will spend the whole of next week pondering whether or not to tell her- dragging it out.
He'll probably 'brake down' later on thanking everyone for 'acceptance'

Being transgender is the only interesting thing about him. Now everyone knows (almost) I think there's not much more to see.

No, although I want to see the " aggressive chef " side to him.

it's really early to tell if he's interesting or not but he did seem to me to be a bit shocked at how uninterested people were about his secret.
I think it just seems as if its being dragged out because it was a big thing for him telling them so after he's told the 3 left that don't know he will hopefully move on from it.

Hopefully he'll move from that smoking area too, he seems glued there

I think now he doesn't have his transgender story, he might not have more to offer, so I think somebody will shine through, I'm expecting Rebecca to win at this moment in time.

Hmm, I like him well enough, pleasant guy, but I do think he's gone in with a mapped out game plan. He wouldn't be my choice of winner.
I also felt like the highlights show tonight was tailored completely to his 'story" and we didn't see enough of the other hms.

It seems very likely but I really hope he doesn't. As others have noted, the whole transgender thing is the only interesting thing about him. Other than that, he's probably almost as interesting as a toilet bowl.

I dont think he'll be that interesting to win... but I reckon hes a shoe-in for the final.

love it - hope he dose win - i predict nothing but honesty from luke - what a nice man and i have so much respect for him.
He looks like the one the show is pushing to win this year just like Alex and Jay last year but if there is a another housemate that can get support like Aaron did then the Show's favourites can be beaten

I actually thought I was going to like him. While he seems okay, he's far from a favourite in my eyes and don't see him in the final week. Close to the end maybe, but not the final.

Mark Henderson, Mario Mugan, Rodrigo, Mikey, Samanda...
Launch Week Favourites never win.

Personally, he's a tit in a sense. If he had of kept that a secret, did the whole Nadia thing and kept it a viewer/housemate exclusive, then it'd of been great and he'd of won.
I'm glad he didn't though. At least if he does win, it'll be because he's a good lad throughout the series, and not because he's a boring, argumentative, loud mouthed, aggressive, Portuguese beast like we had in 2004.

It's nice to see you understand the complex issue of gender identity disorder and the very difficult effects it has on those who suffer from it.

No, I think he has already had his best moments, although I can see him surviving for a long time and maybe getting to the last day but not winning.

Steve BB11 was favourite and kept milking the fact that he couldn't afford to buy his legs. So doubt it.

But in Luke's defense, the fact that he's actually telling everyone adds to his story. Nadia's whole "acceptance" arc kinda loses some credibility for me since she didn't tell people.
I don't see Luke winning though. He'll make it far, but he won't win. My money's on Chris or Benedict

He will probably get extremely far in the competition, but not win.

of course hes bookies favorite, both highlight shows have been focused on him, but apart from his story i dont see him having somewhat of a personality that can make him win.

Don't confuse 'going on about being transgendered' with 'being edited to show all the moments he reveals his is transgendered'.
He seems like a decent housemate but BB is obviously editing him to milk his situation as he reveals his 'secret' to the house.

I thought the other HMs reaction to his "secret" was classic, nobody was the least bit bothered, because they are all far too self obsessed, even if they were shocked they are all too crafty and TV savvy to know that his story could detract from themselves, so not sure Luke Ask me any question you like really thought the whole thing through by doing the reveal this early, and why leave Conor, Aaron and Luke S out...? He is doing it for air time rather than being "truthful".

yeah I wondered why he left them out too, maybe he just didn't have the chance to speak to them

No Fruity, he left them because in his opinion as they are young lads, they might just swoon and need smelling salts.:conf::sleep:

I think because he thinks they are 'lads lads' that he doesn't want to tell them yet because they'd be uncomfortable around him, or something like that.

A bit hypcritical of him, he say's he doesn't want people to judge him, yet he is judging others on what he perceives will be their reaction, I can't see any of the 3 he has left making a big deal of it to be honest, like all the others knowing it took Nadia to the winners enclosure they will be playing it down bigtime.

The one's with the sympathy story, and seeking acceptance from others, usually do well in The Big Brother house.

I agree, he kept going on about the fact he's not told them either.

I like him. He seems a nice normal guy. Of course people will say it's sympathy him telling people that he was once a women. Then again it's nice to be out in the open and it's something to talk about. But yeah if it's all he goes on about for 10 weeks then he doesn't deserve to win. Seems likeable so far though.
