Just seen a thread about the possibility of bringing back a live feed. The vast majority on this forum seem desperate for this course of action to be taken. Personally, i don't see the big deal. I like watching the highlights but i've never watched any of the live feed. It's a bit like watching paint dry to me and i've fairly certain 5 minutes of it would be enough to send me to sleep.

Out of pure curiosity, how much "live feed" would you watch if they brought it back? Half an hour a day? An hour?

I really find it amazing that people want it back so badly...

I'd watch about 2 hours a day, and if they broadcast online, I would watch it when I have a spare period in school which would be an hour and a half in school

I'd watch a couple of hours in an afternoon, just to see how Caroline and Scott are getting along.

I'm not one of these who says 24/7 is essential, but it is needed.

I used to love the days when it was just on E4 in the background, especially late at night when something random and good usually happened.

When it was on E4 24/7 I would watch about 4 hrs in the sfternoon & about 2hrs after the HL's.

Well during the half tern I would watch it 10 am till they go to sleep :D school days 7am-8am/(when it was on c4 my school would play LF on the tv screens at lunch/break)/4pm -1am.

I'd watch it after Bit On The Side every night until they went to sleep on the days where I was off Sixth Form the next day. Days that I wasn't, till about 2am.

Then during the day a couple of hours here and there. Live feed is so much more entertaining that the main highlights show, it just takes a large attention span to be able to deal with it. If you sat watching it for half an hour you'd get into it - the lengthy and often more intelligent conversations which could never be covered in the main show are very interesting to listen to.

Totally agree with you Jack about intelligent conversations, they were really intresting to listen to on the LF.

I wouldn't watch the live feed, but i like the fact that others would and they'd record and post important stuff that happened, so we could see the full story behind the stories on the main show. that's what i liked most about the live feeds.

I wouldn't watch it live personally though.

It used to be on constant in my house, during the day in the background while I was working then at night right up until they all went to bed, I miss seeing all the conversations and interactions between the hms that the highlights miss out.

The forum live feed thread used to be active 24/7 too.

In BB9 I watched the live feed constantly.. I mean, constantly.

If they brought it back, I'd watch it in the mornings, abit in the afternoon - go out and have a life, come back and watch it through the night.

When it was on E4 during BB11, i watched it most of the time it was on. I remember watching the overnight feed.

I also remember buying a day pass for the last day of UBB :(

If they brought it back I'd literally have it on 24/7. I probably would only watch a couple of hours in the afternoon and throughout the evening/night, but I'd go back and forth keeping an eye on it whenever I could. Just love the thought of it being there.

Would pretty much always be on in the background.

Not desperate for it to return though.

In BB9 I watched the live feed constantly.. I mean. Me too Patrick, I really miss the buzz on here cause if you couldn't watch it, you could guarantee someone was & we would always know what was happening in the house

2 - 3 hours a day during the week.

Weekends it wouldn't be off, unless i'm out.

I'd record it all and watch it all and during the day at work I'd have the forum open so I could catch anything that was going on - it made the forum alive as there was always something to discuss actually going on at the time. I do miss the interesting conversations and body language you could really get to know the housemates and develop an in depth opinion about them rather than be fed a heavily edited highlights show.

If they brought it back i'd probably have it on mute whenever I'm in the house, my laptop is sat facing the tv so i'd put the volume on if something interesting was happening :)

It'd constantly be on in the background anytime I was home. Would pay attention during interesting bits.

I'm watch some of it, mainly during the night, not sure how much though. I'm not one of those people who could sit in front of the TV all day watching live feed, I'd feel as if I'd wasted a day.

i used to have it on all the time, what i miss most is being able to really see hm's personalities, the highlight show often misconstrued what actually happened in certain situations , and lets the producers show the side they want you to see of particular hm's i don;t think we get to know them at all when the highlights are so repetitive , they keep showing the same bits and totally waste too much time on people getting dressed and undressed.

Where do you hear the possibility of this?

And, yes I would.

I had it pretty much on the background on my TV all day (besides when I was out, was sleeping and when the HL show was on) between BB5-BB7. In BB8 I watched around 2 hrs a day and about 2 hrs a night, in BB9 I watched around it constantly (more than BB8). In BB10 I watched the night time feed until they went to bed, and in BB11 I watched it constantly online.

if you have never watched something then how do you know it is like watching paint dry?

and how could you see the big deal if you have not watched it?

what i find amazing is how can you have opinions on something you have not watched

and that rant was not really directed at you it was directed at the 100 times i have heard it is like watching paint dry and i ask so how much have you watched answer none

I loved live feed, watched all the time, you get a far better view of what is going on, not just what they want us to see, have not voted since live feed stopped. I keep up with TIBB and Digital spy forums but sadly only watch the eviction shows now.
