Big Brother- A Complete Revamp - Kitchen

Right, so personally I feel BB is in desperate in need of a complete revamp! From logos to location to presenter. Over the next while ill be posting all my ideas here in this thread. I'll also be posting my timetable for the show and a basic plan for evictions aswell as a website.

LOGO
The logo is very basic. I think the novelty of having an eye has kind of worn off but it is critical to the identity of the show. So I prose the actual text with the eye included become the "Official" logo, and the plain eye template be used partially but not as the logo itself. Pre-Launch Advertising
The show will be advertised heavily from 3 weeks before the launch. The main emphasis will be on trying to make the show have an "event" like feel back. Big Brother basically relies on the word of mouth success so the advertising campaign will take place in all forms of media. The ads will focus on the fact there will be a complete overhaul of the format- Which will later be posted.

I really like it all! But just one slight criticism, shouldn't it be "Big Brother's word is final" rather than "Big Brother word is final".

Otherwise everything else is great!

It's all lovely design, and clearly great work, but not my cup I tea :p

I think it's a bit too light and cheery for BB, even more so than the C5 stuff. But as I said, lovely designs and I can't wait to see the rest :)

Format
10 Housemates enter the house on Launch Night (Sunday Night). There will be 4 single evictions and 1 Double .The double eviction will take place in the week before the final. The series will last 7 weeks. The housemates will have to do their main task to earn a prize fund with £15,000 being the average maximum reward for completing a task. Usually there will be no shopping task and the shopping fund will be decided by Big Brother based on the housemates behavior

Nominations
Housemates will nominate 2 people, There will be a small survival task once a week for immunity. Housemates will have 5 minutes MAXIMUM to nominate, Full and frank reasons must be given i.e. “we don’t talk much” isn’t a valid reason. Nominations will not be tampered with by Big Brother Unless it is as a punishment and this will only be done by nominations serving invalid or a housemate being automatically up.

The Timetable.
The following timetable is a rough guidance of what will take place in an average week

Punishment
Minor punishments include cleaning the house.
In the case of major break of punishments the following will loosely apply.
Strike One will result in a verbal warning, 3 hours in prison and in very severe cases they will be unable to nominate.
Strike Two will result in a verbal warning, 6 Hours in prison and a confiscation of luxury items, the housemate will also be unable to nominate.
Strike 3 will result in 10 Hours in prison, they will also have invalid nominations and will automatically be up for eviction.

In very severe cases in which it is not safe or in the case of a severe rule break i.e. Violence, threats etc. The housemate will be removed and replaced by a backup, if their is less than 2 weeks remaining the housemate will not be replaced but there will just be a single eviction instead of a double.

Big Brothers Bit On The Side- Same format but fronted by Alice Levine and Jamie East
Big Brother Eviction- Detailed show plan coming soon but fronted by Emma Willis

Exterior and Stage

The house will be seperated from the studio by a small exterior walkway. The exterior can hold a limited crowd. There is a glass door in the studio which has a view of the exterior
The studio is big and will be filled with a standing crowd
The whole of the studio/exterior relies on lights and can be mood lit
The huge screen in the studio is a door and can divide into two screens

Launch Night Timetable!
Sunday in June- 9:00PM
09:00PM Emma is standing in the studio when she says something along the lines of "Big Brother is back with a Bang" then Titles roll.
09:01PM Emma gives a few facts such as the number of housemates and the how much auditioned etc.
09:02PMA short video explains the format and changes etc. Such as the one in the BB7 Launch
09:06PM Emma gives a full tour of the house which ends with a two minute interview with the producer who explains how strict Big Brother will be. The tour ends in the diary room where Emma states that the first Housemate is on the way
09:14PMAd Break #1
09:17PMEmma stands on stage, she introduces housemate number one, stating there name, age, occupation and where they are from. The housemate then appears from the big screen doors.
09:18PMHousemates VT is showed. They are standing on stage with Emma
09:20PMThe housemate makes there way to the house.
09:22PMOne minute Live Feed shows the housemates settling.
09:23PMHousemate number 2 enters same as the first
09:28PMHousemate number 3 enters same as the first
09:33PMAd Break #2

10:26PMBig Brother asks for a random housemate to stand up, the housemate that stands up will be asked to state who they think are the fakest housemate, the housemate who gets the title will then automatically face the public vote.
10:29PMA titles banner will appear over the live feed

Yeah, I know which one your talking about! Its one of my favorite projects. I can see the resemblance but tbf gradiant backgrounds and rounded boxes are bound to look similar.
