View Full Version : Did the right wildcard go in?

Well do you think the right one went in?

Black Dagger
08-06-2012, 10:34 PM
Not even in the slightest.

I wouldn't mind her going in if Anthony/Bhavesh were going in as well, but they won't even get the chance, her campaign is disgusting and she's robbed a unique person of his chance to shine.

i wanted to Anthony to go in, coz he intrigues me. not saying he'd be the most entertaining but there's plenty of Rebeccas in the world but not so many Anthonys.

black dagger, what do you mean her campaign?

100% no way. Should've been Anthony.

Id rather Anthony but she will be fantastic too.

Long-term- NO- she will get to the final and shall not deserve to fully be there...

Short-term-YES- Will provide us with some great moments over the next few week[s]

I am really happy with this choice

They knew she was going in already. Just wanted her to be a late addition. Might as well put her in with the rest of them and save the other 2 the hassle of travelling

Her 'big girl' campaign, even her fans are championing it, it's disgusting, most of their reasons for wanting her in was 'She's not a model figure' it's so degrading and sickening and patronising. Awful.

But watching the task given, im not sure that the others would have acomplished it....
She did not make the 'splash' she was hoing though.....

Yes. The forum is divided. The house will be divided. I missed the show tonight, but I caught the bit of her running round the house and jumping in the pool. Everyone knew she was going to be like that. I could imagine everyone who wanted Anthony in cringing at the sight of said antics. :joker:

Obviously we have to see more of her in the environment of BB, but I guess she will be loved, or hated. No inbetween.

Anthony is just a bore. He even seemed nervous to be on TV when he was being interviewed every night. I'm just meh towards Rebecca tbh. Bhevesh could have been an amazing hm.

08-06-2012, 11:46 PM
Absolutely.

Here's a question I have. When I criticize John James, Aaron, the likes for not being good Housemates, everyone POUNCES on me. They say that they're controversial, provide much discussion, etc. And who's been the topic of discussion ever since the series started? Rebecca. And what is said about her? She's an awful, vile wench who's just a Josie poser. Seems like an extreme double standard to me.

I was glad Rebecca won the vote. I was dreading Anthony going in - he is just a self obsessed bore with little time for anybody but himself, from what I've seen of him which, admittedly, isn't very much but enough to convince me that the right choice was made!

I voted no. I'm afraid it's going to become the Becky Show. I found her grating on me in the short video and it was sickening watching Shievonne and Adam fawning over her. Luke A's laughter looked forced. I got the impression he felt she'd stolen his thunder.

I didn't want to support any of them, just in case the one I liked didn't get in.

Rebecca in some respects seems like a better choice. Viewers want fun and drama, and she has the potential to deliver both.

The other two seemed like nice and interesting characters, but neither of them were going to shake up the house like Rebecca. It seemed to me they were offering something else, like it would have taken weeks to really get to know each guy, and well Rebecca is instantly knowable. Or so she comes across to me anyway.

Also I was thinking that she will probably start to feel really depressed, when food becomes scarce and there isn't enough to keep up her energy levels. But C5 BB seems to give loads of parties and I think people put on weight in BB now. So she should be just as lively throughout her stay.

The no vote is total votes for those who wanted one of the other two potential housemates to go in though.
The poll is loaded in favour of the no vote so it needs to have twice as many votes as yes for it not be be in favour of the right decision.

Only if you're assuming that "no" vote is split evenly between Anthony and Bhavesh which isn't the case

i think the other two would have just got swallowed up in big brother
i think she will earn her place as time goes on but people have to stop labeling her as another josie but i do think benedick is the new roberto bb6.

Ahhh Roberto...... I was a fan.

I think Rebecca is going to get on everyone's nerves, she's already getting on mine. And despite all her "big and proud" and "life and soul of the party" declarations, she'll end up boo-hooing.

09-06-2012, 03:07 PM
Should have just had them all 16 housemates up in a vote-to-save then replaced the lowest 3 votegetters with the wild-cards. Pretty sure Bhavesh and Anthony would offer more than a few of the ones in there.

No, the right wildcard did not go in...because there was no right wildcard...I hated all 3 of them and would have much rather seen a fake eviction and no new entry.

Becky is probably my favorite so far, she has a really nice personality in my opinion. Anthony just seemed really dull in my opinion I'm glad he isn't the big brother house he would annoy me so much. Bhavesh i think would have been funny but i think Becky was deffo the best!!!

i wanted the weird guy to go in he would of changed everything in there being around him.

13-06-2012, 04:22 PM
Absolutely not. It was clear from the start that Becky was fake
and hyping things up to get in but enough voted for her as they fell for it.

because she was (to me) obviously not genuine I would have rather seen Anthony go in.

He may have ended up being a mistake and too quiet

but he was a bit weird not just an act I think

so would have been dif than most Hm s and given a bit more interest than most.

I could accept anyone disliking my voice and presence on VT, as the tape probably made me cringe more than anyone ... This sort of insight into my personality, however, suggests either personal acquaintance or telepathy (or extreme presupposition).

Can't argue with this one. :( Always did hate the sound of my own voice on recording, and my lack of preparation for the VT shows through. Pure laziness on my part. If I audition again, I shall be better prepared (and maybe seek vocal coaching ...).

And thanks for the support, guys, albeit IMO largely undeserved ... Becky did answer to the job description of "wildcard" best out of the three of us, is a genuine and kind person in my experience of her, and I hope she goes the distance.

I'd have thought Arron was the most likely walker, but since he also seems the most likely casualty I won't be holding my breath (though personally, I'd sooner be shot of Chris). Thanks for the thoughts and prayers, though. :) xx

I think Becky is alright.

I wouldn't be able to stand the other two in there so I believe yes. I think she also has more longevity than the others would. They would be too different and go too quickly.

Oh me and you both, really hoping he is out this week. A very annoying passive/ aggressive man. Maybe arron will walk he seems bored or uninterested in the show to be honest over the last couple of days.

You're welcome Anthony, we can only hope that there is a shake up of housemates and a vacancy comes up soon.
If you do a shout out to me for my prayers on the show please haha

As long as you can stand to be trapped with my presence here ... ;)

However, Becky was definitely right for that first task, no doubt. After a stressful twelve-hour day of waiting around in a small room, I was very ill-prepared for that little prisoner's dilemma ...

It only occurred to me later that Becky's task simply amounted to behaving in a normal, friendly way. Becky's vivacity was exactly what was needed to shrug off the superficial nastiness of that challenge, and her friendliness was exactly what was needed to accomplish it quickly.
