Stupid Over editing/Montages.

I'm sorry but who is editing big brother because at the moment it looks like its a child in year 5 learning to use movie maker. All the montages are ridiculous especially todays 'romantic' one. It was just so very tacky, my little sister was cringing at it. I mean do they get bored and decide to piss fans off for a laugh.

And the recaps are just to OTT they try to make it like some sort of blockbuster film but it just is not working. God forbid we have another recap episode to this day I still detest the man/woman responsible for that day. If I was Marcus and they had showed me that script I would have pissed on it and ran back to c4.

Channel 4 use to edit the show in a way that made it interesting to watch but made you feel like you are a 'fly on the wall' and even though the shows were only a house c4 made you feel like you have been watching them for the whole day. Whereas c5 you can tell the show has been edited within a inch of its life and you just know there is allot you have no seen, you can always hear housemates having fun in the background of a boring convocation that would not be missed if it was not included.

I'm sorry to rant, this may no seem like a big deal but it is dramatically ruining the show for me :cloud:.

And the fact they deny me live feed and give me that crap and call it a hls makes it worse. :bawling:

We went over this in CBB8 old news now, too tired to even discuss it but I agree completely.

They've just ruined the show so much and this is - for me, the main factor. It's one thing taking live feed of us, but to then piss all over the highlights and make the majority of it a montage, it's just insulting.

Tonight was not so bad, but that's because it was an eviction - I mean they didn't even play some Example song, whilst the housemates woke up today - it was great.

No doubt it'll be back tomorrow though. :bored:

I really think the editing team do it for their own little amusement or just to put their favourite songs on the show.
Is it so hard to ask that they just ****** off and leave the show how it is and let us actually get to know the housemates? Without 'Special FX' like fireballs flying out at the screen, or silly music being played over conversations, or the camera 'rotating for a dramatic effect' every ******ing second.

I think it feels worse for me because just before the series started I was watching BB3 to pass time till launch.

Wouldn't be too bad if there was live feed, because I could just laugh at it. It's so irritating, because it wastes a lot of time and we don't get enough footage as it is.:mad:

C4 highlights (before BB11) just went through the previous day's events as if it was actually live, but skipping to the most important stuff. I miss live feed, but it's really **** when I have to also say that I miss the highlights.:joker:

Or more boring footage, which they need to liven up through music, rather than conversation or more subtle footage which could be revealing.

I think the use of music is amateur compared to the American version, though I hate the romance montages in that too.

That 'romance' montage was beyond cringeworthy, I was disgusted. And it just proves how much they really are trying to push for relationships - relationships that are yet to even ****ing be there. Seriously, they made out that bath scene to be some horny little affair - when really they were just sitting in there having a chat. Pisses me right off.

It's so tacky, especially all the font they use on eviction nights as well like '16 HOUSEMATES ENTERED', it looks terrible. They're trying to imitate X Factor except they can actually pull it off and it looks professional, when these guys do it it looks like some Y8 student using Movie Maker has done it.

To say the whole show including eviction and Rebecca going in was only 1 hour, I think they spent to long on the same stuff,we hardly saw anything form the full 24 hours

It annoys me most when they make a montage of them drinking and stuff. It basically seems to just speed up the good stuff and we don't see how much they actually drink.
