View Full Version : Adam is such a disappointment

I thought he would be confrontational and argumentative but he's been nothing but a boring neutral bystander thus far. I know it's early days but he seems too "nicey nice" and I reckon he could end up being Steve 2.0.

I haven't seen enough of him yet to really form an opinion, i actually had to check up to see which one Adam was! :-) Also, i never saw his Video...was it the usual over the top rubbish? Either ways, it's still very early days, give him a chance...if he just turns out to be a "nice" guy...well, u have to have a few nice people as well, u can't just have an entire house full of ar$eholes!! The little i've heard come out of his mouth, seems all ok..at least he doesn't appear to be a bonehead! The thing about Steve, not only was he not much of a conversationalist (kindof a prerequisite for appearing on BB...i would of thought), and quite boring...i don't think you could say he was a particularly "nice" person either.

most irrelevant housemate so far.
He's probably done loads but we'll never know because we don't have a certain feed

I think he's just being smart, he's letting everyone else hang themselves for the first few evictions. I'm sure he'll start to come out more when he feels more secure in the house.
The first few weeks i think everyone is still nervous about nominations and stuff, so the smart ones will hang back and let other people shoot themselves in the foot, like Chris last night.
Samuel.

Impossible to say who's actually boring when we're only seeing like half the house every highlight show.

Not his fault they've put him in with a bunch of TOWIE rejects.

How many days are we into the show?
Some housemates like to relax into things first and get used to it. Grace for example, her quality bits as a housemate came after about week 1/2.

so many members have knee jerk reactions to housemates
i love them or i hate them sit back and watch it for a bit its 3 months long!
I like Adam, he seems alright and not everyone has to be in there constantly bitching and causing havoc to make them a good housemate tbh.

I think at this point he's had the least air-time, I'd have said he'd tied with Scott, but Scott has his stint with Arron and his diary room scene yesterday. I think he'll come out more when the numbers dwindle.

He is not. I am so glad he and Shievonne are so far not going with the BB stereotype that all black housemates must be aggressive because they both seem like nice people and obviously want to win the show like all the others.
Adam is having fun and seems a laidback guy.

No I thought he came off quite well actually, telling off that silly twat Arron.
In my opinion, he appeared to make a fuss over nothing, something that none of the others were really moaning about either, in fact some of them found Arrons actions childish 'but' funny too and we all can be childish at times.
However once Arron realised everyone ended up affected by his actions, he instantly not only apologised to Adam but also then apologised to everyone generally too for the inconveneience of the bedroom being closed for a time.
For me, that just made Adam look even more of a grump and so reflected badly on him last night.
I like Adam and I like Arron but I found Adam to be more negative in last nights highlights.

this.
I have been saying this for the last three days about Adam. He's not going to be a big major player when it comes to BB moments or been on the H/l show evry night but his importance in the house is huge. The girls and some of the guys see him as the father type that they can speak too. I like him at the moment he's the one thats close to been my fav to win.

..well he certainly managed to shut Arron up over the bedroom lights...and Arron apologised as most hardcore 'rebels' do..

Yeah I agree, alpha males don't need to stomp around and force people to see them as the top dog either, people just naturally think it without them doing anything, the way Arron apologised the minute Adam told him he was annoyed about the lights last night is a prime example

Also when Lauren was distraught, she asked Adam to speak up for her, and he did. I'm not sure many in the house would have done that.

The sausagegate thing is.
A few were cooking food, I think Lauren was one, and there was enough for everyone to have one sausage. And if there were some left over they could be divided out.
Arron took an extra one, and sneaked off to the bathroom and gave it to a grateful Chris (not sure why).
Lydia noticed Arron leaving the kitchen trying to shield his plate with a hand, so she observed him, figuring he was sneaking into the bathroom to eat it. Anyway she told some people (including Lauren).
I think Lydia said about some having two sausages it in the kitchen when a few were around and some where still eating, Deana owned up to having two, and said she thought they were allowed. Lauren said she didn't even get one. Arron was hovering around the sink and didn't own up.
A bit later, Lauren waked into the kitchen and Adam S, Conor, Arron and maybe Adam were baking a potato each. Lauren said that they guys should tell everyone first cause they were all hungry.
Lauren goes out to the smoking area and soon after Adam asks if she is ok, she says that some people are inconsiderate . (Sara hears this, and thinks that Lauren is making that remark about Deana).
Later still, Sara sees Lauren doing Deana's hair.
And that night, Lydia is outside the toilet in the bedroom listening as Ash & Sara badmoth Lauren to Shievonne. Lauren enters the bedroom and Lydia motions her to come to the door and listen. Lauren hears that they are talking about her, so she busts into the room, and tries to explain her case.
The main gist is that Sara thinks Lauren was twofaced for saying that about Deana and then being nice to her. But Lauren found it difficult to get her point across, and she's kinda given up and is crying in the bedroom (also Lydia befriended Lauren about this time). Anyway Adam asked her what was wrong, and Lauren explained how the other girls hated her, and asked if he would explain that she never said Deana was inconsiderate. And he did that to Sara & Deana.
Later that ep, Deana confided in Lauren that they were allowed to talk about noms. So Adam's intervention kinda allowed Deana to stay friends with Lauren. Also since then Lauren has made up with Sara but not really with Ash (but that's mainly cause of Luke S and how Ash sees Lauren as a threat).
I think that's about it.

..I'm not sure about that Vanessa..people said the same when Rebekah was evicted last year but it turned out to be a good BB..
