It seems to me that Chris has isolated himself quite a lot. He seems to want to control everything that goes on, he even tries to control everyones thoughts. Control Freak!

I always think people in his line of work are, at heart, ineffectual and weak, so they compensate by using the authority (such as it is, cos they are quite limited in their powers as bailiffs, despite their intimidating tactics) of their position to bully people, and it makes them feel good and powerful. I dont dislike Chris, but his grovelling around HM8S the morning after his row was cringeworthy IMO ,If Shievonne hadnt made him realise that it could cost him £100,000 would he stil have apologised ?

His problem is actually insecurity. He portrays himself as this domineering alpha-male, when that's not what happens in the real world. Good leaders command respect, they don't need to tell people how great they are.

He's obviously nervous about his body (compared to other guys), and his voice, so he is over compensating. Luke isn't an alpha male, either, in the true meaning of the phrase. Ben is the most Alpha in there, he exudes that calm presence that doesn't conflict with any of the men, and the women feel comfortable around him.

If you have to shout, you've already lost the argument as far as I'm concerned.

I dont think hes paranoid, he was seriously doing some cover-arsing the day after his drunken spit. Hes a gameplayer too and wants to make sure hes not gonna get nominated.. I dont think thats paranoia in the BB house. Paranoia is when you think everybody in the house doesnt like you/is up to something - Deana to a degree.

Chris wants Luke S and Arron out because he thinks theyll be popular with the public, being good looking men. Thats why I think he bitches to convince others to nominate them too without directly suggesting.

I think to be fair *Kate* was on about his job and that also it is likely one of the qualifications of being a bailiff,to be able to intimidate, frighten and bully the people they deal with.
With full respect though Mockinator,what do you think most bailiffs do to people, they make their lives a living hell.
I have seen it, they are truly rotten uncompomising people who are in fact little else but paid bullies.

He hasn't bullied anyone in the house that is true,as yet,although he doesn't at most times like others having their own opinions on things,hence his quarrel with Luke S. I think it was.
Selfish,only thinking of himself and his stomach over the others.

Massively sorry to disagree with 'you' naturally but I do also admit I am biased against him too because of that and were I a housemate, once he told me he was a bailiff then he and I would be at loggerheads all the time,he'd be my first nomination every week that he and I were in there.
I am pretty sure I would be his too of course.
