BBUKLive: 11.28am: Lauren hated school; she used to wear pink dungarees and eat her lunch in the loos. Aw... #bbuklive

Poor girl, all of this bitching has probably brought it all back...

Plenty of people have a tough time at school though

Being bitched about would be hurtful regardless.

I agree, was just a point as to why she might be more insecure around girls?

She has too accept that girls and most men bitch about other people, she will never have a "girlfriend" then if she keeps getting paranoid all the time

I do think it is the main factor why she was upset last night, she said she never had girl friends at school, and that it was nice she finally had one and that she wanted to feel accepted.

It does sound like a bit of a sob story, but it must have been difficult after the bitching session. Tbf though, what is she expecting? This is BB not find me a friendship.

yeah, agree, shes clearly sensitive about what people think of her.

Not everyone has a tough time at school, but she clearly did.

no wonder she felt so upset.

Tbf I think most went in there this year expecting a fun super time, but as we know that hasn't happened.

I really like her but she doesn't need to have excuses made for her.

oh please...not another sob story about being bullied at school... lets face it who hasnt been bullied at some stage of their lives by someone trying to get the upper hand? its how you deal with it...and if her idea of dealing with it is wailing and asking other people to fight her battles....Im not surprised really. Time to move on, remove herself from the company of the people who are making her feel uncomfortable and concentrate on the people who like her...there are 15 other people in there, why let one or two ruin her day... madness.

That's a shame about school. But as others have said, it happens a lot. And I guess pink dungarees have never been in fashion

Anyway she didn't let it stop her going on to study Criminology & Sociology.

I doubt this makes a difference to her being upset about the bitching, most people would be when you think they're your friends.

the thing is though Sara said she liked her all the way through, she kept repeating to her that she liked her. Lauren just didn't want to give her the benefit of the doubt at all..it's Lauren that doesn't want the friendship not Sara

Friends???? after...5 days .... I dont doubt you can make life long friends and even life partners from the BB experience, however that is rare, I would have thought most people entering the house would be a bit wiser to the game playing that goes on, and that they have gone into the house to win 100,000 not to make friends....seems some people fall for it every time. or is she boxing clever and playing the sympathy card....?

What makes you think Sara was telling the truth though? I doubt she wanted any confrontation from the situation, so the best way to deal with it would be to tell Lauren that she does like her, regardless if it's true or not.

The fact she was bitching about Lauren in the first place makes her honesty questionable.

Yep, she said something like I never bitch when Lauren busted in to find her bitching about her.

And I agree, conversations making up after things like that are usually never genuine. They are just done so there isn't an all out screaming argument.

um but why would she lie to Lauren? It's perfectly possible to like someone but also bitch about them. Sara was probably finding it difficult in there and it had to come out at some point. Lauren isn't innocent either because she had passive aggressively inadvertently accused every single housemate in there of stealing the sausages when she took her moral high ground.

Lauren even made a point of saying that she hadn't directly accused Deana, but that she had just said 'somebody' had taken two sausages..As if that is an excuse or a justification!

Lauren seems to me to have said that just to get out of seeming a bitch by accusing Deana. It's also Lauren that is not interested in being friends with girls, not the girls who aren't interested in being friends with Lauren in my view.

I like her and I don't mind her voice. Maybe she is trying too hard to be the tomboy and going on about "girls don't like me". Whereas with sneaky Lydia it all just comes natural to her.

Oh boo hoo... she had a bad time at school. So did most people at one time or another. She's left school now though so surely it's time she got over it instead of using it as an excuse for being a cry-baby.

I feel sorry for her but that's as a person, as a housemate I couldn't care less and she hasn't really done anything of worth so far up until last night.

Girls will bitch , I think some girls can be bitchier then others but she's not the first and last girl to be talked about ,she has said though that she doesnt get along with girls when she was sat with the lads ,saying the conversations when she's talking with girls always ends up talking about either ,hair ,make up or lads so why is she bothered about a bit of gossiping and Lydia is a stirrer don't like her at all.
