I was skeptical at first but it's a great addition to shaking up the house.

They should place a hidden immunity idol somewhere.

I don't like it because now it's all they talk about. I would have wanted them to have fun a bit longer. Might not have happened anyhow with this lot but now all they do is talk about nominations (at least in the highlights).

Really spoiling it for me now, someone who came to watch it with us last night once he saw them talking about noms he was finished with it and left.
It will get very monotonous week after week most of the highlights taken up with noms planning and chat about noms.
I preferred the suggestion on bbbots last night as to stronger punishments for breaking the rule on talking about noms rather than just listening to noms talk highlights after highlights programmes all through the series now.

I agree, I don't like it either. Stronger punishments for breaking the rules is what is needed, like automatically facing the public vote, or even just on the spot eviction for persistent rule breakers

I think the problem with stronger punishments is that the only meaningful and enforceable punishment is the threat of eviction, and if they keep doing that they will run out of housemates (And I can safely guess from my own arduous processing that they do not have an unlimited pool of substitutes ...).

Well, that is thoughful with long words - I just think talking noms every 5 seconds ruins any pretence it is not really another show. NOT BB
If you enjoy it then fine

I am a bit surprised they don't edit out more of the nom-related talk, since they have that option, but perhaps they will when it becomes less of a novelty (and especially if the feedback on it is poor).

Housemates have always discussed nominations. The only difference is that now they don't get punished for it. Maybe Big Brother just gave up on it?

I think that is exactly the case. What they really need is the legal clout to introduce whippings for serious infractions. ;)

It think it's good as long as it doesn't turn into just 1 group in complete control picking off everyone else one by one. that would be boring. Aslong as there are different groups fighting eachother and the power going back and forth, it is interesting. BUt when it's just one group in complete control it kills the show.

That's why BB US is good, a single HoH who can be swayed and decisions can be easily changed :)
