I hope they get Moyes in as his replacement, watching Tottenham bomb next season would be brilliant.

Thought the spuds would lose a few players but not Harry. St. Totteringham's Day will be early next season.

Levy is taking a risk and Modric will definitely be off.

If the rumours are true Arry will do a press conference in his car:p.

Disappointing news that Rafa won't be joining us on 5 Live tomorrow night as our studio guest. Was hoping to say hello. Something came up.

Don't go to Spurs Rafa :(

We'll have a job available next summer.

Locke.

Don't be silly, Brendan is here for the long term.

Rafa won't go to Spurs though, won't get offered the job, his reputation isn't that great in England for some unknown reason.

In his 15 months back at #LFC, Kenny Dalglish beat Harry Redknapp's trophy haul in four years at #THFC and equalled Redknapp's career total.

Yet one is praised like a god and the other is laughed at for spending too much money...

Harry took over them when they were in ruin though, and they were never expected to get CL really, whereas Liverpool are expected to win the league/be amazing/have declined even more

Well said Nate.

Bit shocked by this TBH even though I was one of the people saying Spurs should have done better this season with the squad available to them.

Moyes will take over and do brilliantly.

Moyes might do well for Spurs if he goes there, who knows?

It would be a blow if both Modric and Bale want to go now but Levy is a hard negotiator, although there is only so long clubs can keep a disgruntled player for and in Modric's case do the club want another saga of will he/won't he leave because in the dressing room too it would have caused problems for the club and dressing room harmony IMO.

Great news. Couldn't stand Spurs being a Champions League spot contender.

Phil McNulty ‏@philmcnulty
Feel free to come back to me on this one but get a growing sense that David Moyes will not be the next Tottenham manager. #bbcfootball

Phil McNulty ‏@philmcnulty
Mention Rafa Benitez in connection with any job - say Spurs - and it's Twitter version of the nuclear button. Polarises opinion every time.

Phil McNulty ‏@philmcnulty
Also get feeling proverbial managerial "merry go round" has been thrown out of synch by Rodgers' move to LFC. Would have been Spurs target.

Phil McNulty ‏@philmcnulty
Benitez now knows his hopes of going back to Liverpool have gone with Rodgers' appointment so needs to get back into the market.

Brendan ****ing Rodgers

If only Spurs had sacked Redknapp before we had signed him. Though we would have probably ended up with Martinez anyway.

RUMOUR: AVB has signed a 3 year deal with Spurs.

I like AVB but I'd have kept Redknapp.
