Something about Arrons apology to Deana seemrd 100%
insincere. Not sure if its because

- he wants to play the big guy apologising for votes
- he wants air time (following on from rebel phase)
- he fancies Deana but doesnt know how to engage someone
as classy wholesome demure naturally beautiful.

I sort of thought from the highlights tonight that he does really like her a lot at this stage. He in an odd way seemed to act a bit like Boyfriend worrying his girlfriend was going to make a fool of herself with drink.

I think maybe he saw an opportunity to cause a bit of friction which he hoped would get him some air time. He was totally out of order, but I don't think there's much love lost between them anyway. The hug they gave each other was one of the most insincere ones I have ever seen from both sides.

No he's desperate for votes cos he knows how much of a total twat he's been.

I believed him, but he didnt take it seriously so Deana did not.

Those costumes have ensured he gets AT. BB
want to kerp him in. Nominated HM should never
be focus of a task.

I rewatched the video of him doing that, and I still can't get over how rude he was towards Deana. Sara was crying over the Queen, and he doesn't say a word to her. He picks on Deana out of nowhere. Suggesting that she shouldn't drink.

Screw him and his sharia law.

I think Arron might have a soft spot for Deana....he's not the only one.

I actually really like them both, and I hope this hate thing turns into a romance and that will be a genuine romance not like Luke S and Ashleigh

It was so uncalled for, if he was gonna say something like that, it should have been to Sara or Ashleigh, Deana has never acted like silly drunk.

He thought arguing with Deana would make him look good, but then when she put him in his place and made him look like a twat - he backtracked.

Just like what he did with Adam.

If that happens he's won their feud so no. Besides shes far too good
and classy. He should stick to trashier easier girls eg Ashleigh
and Sara

I doubt he cares about what other people in the house think after being put up for eviction by them, or the public judging by how he's acted so far. I believe his reasoning for the apology was genuine.

a very strange outburst. i think he fancies her and cant stand that he cant get what he wants so goes on the attack. mr vain probably thinks they should all be all over him and they are not.
she handled it very well i thought and the apology . classy

I don't think he was rude to Deana, I think he didn't want to fail his part of the task and he saw what happened the other night after drink when Sara got on about the Queen and how things got silly, he possibly expected with too much drink, people who aren't used to it may have ended up going into hysterics at his outfits, at that time he had no idea whether another outfit was on the cards as well.

I think Deana reacted badly really but he should have addressed it to all of them not just her I admit. Maybe he thought she would lead abstaining on it until the task was over, also I think she had said alcohol had an effect on her.

I think it's fine for nommed housemates to be a major part of the task and the main thing is that both nommed housemates get a near equal amount of airtime which I think happened last night, both positively and negatively for both too, with Arron and his dispute with Deana and then Chris with Becky, while the rest of their time was positive for them.

Being a main part of the task can go 2 ways though, had he failed the task and they had laughed at him, he would have really been the bad guy, so it was a risk being a focus of the task but in my opinion he he carried it off near perfectly to be fair despite his clear annoyance and frustration as to having to do it too.
Scotts reaction was hilarious.

He's going through a difficult time in the house tbf to him. Deana was actually quite rude to him and now thinks she's in with her new found friends.

I think that too, also if she genuinely felt bad when she nominated the 3 she did on the first night then feeling like that for nominating she should then realise how harder it is for those nominated.

I have to say I liked Deana at first but as someone said on another thread, she appears to look down on people, I think she does too.

You are so right, she was rude herself.I pity the servants she has.

Nope Deana was sticking up for herself against an entitled
sexist pig.

Childish and daft he may be at times, even wrong too but he always apologises, some people never make any attempt to apologise in any way when they know they have maybe really upset/hurt someone.

Sexist though, in my opinion anyway, is no way a word to describe Arron from any of his actions in the house at all.

alex_front2

Arron is a wimp.

He will belittle her and try and control her in front of everyone but will only apologise to her one on one/ in private.

If i were deana i wouls have made him apologise in front of everyone in the lounge wherr he abused her.

Arran is sexist as he would never have spoken to any of the men in
that way especially not Adam or his slaggy pal Luke S

I thought he had done it on purpose, to make her and others angry so she would be in too much of a mood to laugh...but he is not THAT clever is he?
I think having him the focus of attention with the costume changes is BB trying to influence voting as he much much more airtime due to this aspect of the task...How funny would chris have looked in those outfits?...

He saw her as the weak link of the group so singled her out.

She tore him a new arsehole.

He then gave her an insincere apology.

I don't really see him as sexist either tbh, he's too locked up in himself

joeysteele

I don't see Deana as a weak link either, she is a very determined individual, nothing wrong with that but weak in any sense,no way. She is clearly an authoritarian type person.
If anything she is the likely strongest.

I also think he gave as sincere an apology as she would allow him to,she was the one who,in my view, accepted it with massive insincerity. She would have been more honest had she said, No I am not okay with that and cannot accept your apology.

Deana seems to have very little empathy for people, even when they are put in difficult positions that she has already been in, for example with Becky in the secret task and now Arron being up for eviction

Kizzy
14-06-2012, 10:30 AM
She really does not want to come across as a soft touch, and to be fair she is staying true to her VT she did say she would bite if provoked.
I was upset for her when she found becky had made a friendship with her to win a task, I would probably have reacted the same to be fair.

I think he was way out of order and it was all done to get airtime - no coincidence that he picked on there person he thought had the least friends in the house - I'm so glad she told him where to get off.

I'm not really sure what you're getting at with the gender thing. I'm blaming Deana for lacking empathy, which she lacked with Victoria, Rebecca and Lydia who as far as I'm aware are woman. I'm not even blaming her frankly, it's just an opinion for the forum to take or leave as they wish.

But i am not talking about lacking empath with aforementioned. i am talking about
arran and his treatment of deana in contrast to his surrender and apology to adam 24h before. deana was never rude controlling to becky lydia et al and never
belittled them to group.

Aaron is a twat that seems to like arguing with women.

He himself has used that word to describe himself anyway a few times, however to me, it also appears some of the females like to argue with him too,a two way thing, not just one to blame.

Victoria for instance 'pushed' him to say who he would evict, when he said 'you, meaning her, it was then Victoria who took the huff with Arron and started that dispute, not the other way round.

Deanas odds of winning have drifted to least likely to win since she put Arran in his. Facepalm.
