View Full Version : Does anyone still think BB has its Chosen one?

For example
Nadia BB5
Pete BB7
Josie BB11
They were chosen from the begining to be the winners by BB producers by editing and good PR. Maybe sometimes its backfired for them but it seems this year Becky could be the one they want to be their big Winner.
So do you still believe that BB producers or higher ups still chose their chosen one?
Who were the chosen ones in past BB's?

They so didn't want Racheal to win BB9 and totally did a bad edit on her or just left her out. Or not knocked he ron Big Brother big mouth.
Belo or the Twins i think they would have been happy with either.

i hope your wrong on that romance both of them are in it for the wrong reasons plsu they are both boring as hell.
Becky is their Jade Goody for C5 era of BB. They will make sure she's protrayed as a kindly bubbly girl.

Oh Yes. Has anyone seen their Twitter for BBLive? I was on it today.. literally, the majority of their tweets are:
'Ashleigh and Luke are in the kitchen, she's wearing his cap... ooooh #Lushliegh xo'
NO. Don't even start with that bollocks FS.

And if anyone thinks I'm kidding.. they genuinely are using that, yes. Lushleigh - that's what's trying to catch on apparently. :idc:

Oh God no...I mean I just don't get it, I really couldn't care less. I've nothing against 'romances' if the housemates are actually entertaining, but Ashleigh is terribly dull and Luke S is just alright.
Have to say I prefer it when there's a love triangle or whatever - at least that could get a bit heated. I might like it more if sh*t goes down over Lauren/Ashleigh and him.

Apart from UBB when they wanted Nikki to win, all the other winners I think they wanted to win as just because Davina didn't want Rachel Rice to win doesn't mean that the producers didn't want her to win.
Anyway I think they want Conor to win as his just the typical BB winner, he starts off in the middle and then when everybody else has irritated you all to the point where they are unvoteable, Conor gets all the votes and wins.
It is coming a mile off.

I don't mind reltionships as long as the people in them actually like each other. Ashleigh is in it for mag deals and Luke just wants a play thing and Lauren is too much work so why not have the slapper instead. Say goodbye to BB13 been a classic now guys :(

I think, as is the case with likely a lot of viewers, even BB don't know what to make of these housemates, they likely haven't got a runaway favourite for themselves yet just like a great many viewers haven't too.

JJ was given an awful edit and Josie was shown screaming at Sam Pepper and acting like a phsyco over Keeva (cant spell her stupid name).
Josie was favourite from the start after her epic entrance. Dont forget C4 also had live feed so people could see past the edit. Why cant people just accept that some of us actually liked Josie and drop the bitterness just because their favourite didnt win.
You're just being paranoid and need to just chill out, watch the show and form your own opinion on the housemates.

I disagree too daniel, the show is good this year however I feel that some HM's have almost been editted out of the HL's.... Conor, luke A.
They need to be fairer with the cut, its the chris arron and lydia show atm.

Maybe thats just because those particular housemates arnt doing much?
They have to condense 24 hours into 45 minutes so obviously they are gonna show the most entertaining housemates and tbf this series is the best in years so they are doing a good job.

 Whilst I do agree there are "chosen ones" that the producers pick out who show promise for set up storylines or whatever to focus on in the edit, I have to draw the line at the conspiracy theories on them choosing a winner. They couldn't give flying **** who won the show. Winning the show isn't the biggest deal in the world fgs. Some people make it sound like the producers are criminal masterminds trying to overthrow the Prime Minister or something.

I don't think any are chosen ones,i just think it's something we invented to cover the fact our faves aren't winning or popular.BB are only human and i guess there are some contestants they like and dislike and may create tasks geared to them but i dont think they have one and push them to win.

And BB knew they would.
Normally they begin the 'Vote to Win' and chuck a 1-2 out before finale night, this time they kept it an evict vote.
Its so obvious.

What did they have to gain from choosing Josie as the winner though?
I'm still not sold on why they would give a ****.

14-06-2012, 08:58 PM
Josie is the only "chosen one" - they wanted to make sure BB ended how they wanted. And the quadruple "vote to evict" eviction was proof of that, it got rid of ALL of Josie's competition.

I think that the way they put Luke A in and how they are dancing round his gender issues, he seems to be a groomer but Beckie was Jamies choice. Emma cant stop waffling on about Lydia becasue she knows her not so famous boyfriend.

I disagree with the chosen ones. I think certain people get themselves into a role within the house that makes for the most interesting 'little guy' plot and BB loves to run with that because they know the majority of people will like it.

Maybe because Chris was asked to unlock the box to get the envelope out? Just a thought.
Or then again, the camera focusing on him during the task has kind of made me feel like voting for him to win in the end. Must be some kind of brain washing. Hmmm, yes, that must be it.

Don't even get me started on that quadruple eviction. The biggest farce in the history of Big Brother UK.
Deliberately created to engineer a Josie win, there are no excuses. Arguably the worst production decision that I've ever seen made in a reality TV show, denying us one of the most unpredictable, exciting finals of BB ever, and lumping us with the sh*ttest finalists in all eleven series of the show, and ironically the most predictable winner.

Nope, i hate these conspiracy theories. I think they pick types of people with big personalities, and some of them shine in the house and others breakdown and lose the plot, it's all a craps shoot though.
I think they genuinely edit the show to show the most interesting stories in the house, i don't think they edit it thinking "well we can't show that, people might go off Josie if we showed that"
