C4 are apparently in talks with abc to broadcast a UK version of there new show 'the glass house' it has 24hr live feed plus weekly eviction! So basicly big brother :s can't see them being able to broadcast a clone of bb! Anyway hope this makes C5 panic and give us live feed! And the UK audience will never warm to a new bb style reality show imo

I think C4 really regrett letting big brother go! They were garenteed at least 2m people watching everynight for 3 months! And now there probibaly losing money because they had to fill the slots where bb would have aired!

The so-called "live feed" on the Glass House so far has not been live feed at all, it's been live games. It's been horrible. It's NOTHING at all like Big Brother so far.

There's no way ANY broadcaster would go near the Glass House while it's embroiled in a legal battle.

But if it is cleared and it does go global, I wouldn't be surprised if Channel 4 did pick up the rights - they've already tried to rip-off BB once since they axed it with that garbage 'Home For The Holidays' show at Christmas

Protecting their use of the BB format is a lot more important then allow a clone on the air and having it become popular. The articles i've read about it even claim there are a couple dozen ex-BB employees helping them create Glass House. I hope it does get shut down. ABC needs to come up with new reality shows, not fill up our tv sets with more clones.

Yeah, I forgot to mention that there's 14 former employees. BB fans are pissed off at AG (The Head Executive Producer for BBUSA) for not being creative and "rigging it so only certain hgs could win" so they're flocking to GH.

And the reason why ABC feels so entitled to do this is because CBS is ripping off ABC's The View (It's like Loose Women, a talk show) with a show called The Talk (Which features BBUSA's host Julie Chen as the moderator). Which is angering fans.

I do agree that CBS has every right to do this but for ******* sakes. YOU ARE THE MOST WATCHED NETWORK, AT LEAST GIVE THE OTHERS A CHANCE.

Glass House is happening right now with livefeeds apparantly. Not sure if anyone can watch it or if you have to be priveledged to get a view of the livefeeds right now. The main tv show launches in 4 days.

I don't think "The Talk" vs "The View" can really compare with what ABC is doing though. The View is just a tv show. Anyone can make a talk show with 4 women on it. No one really has a copyright on talk shows, or talk shows with 4 women.
Big Brother is like a franchised,copyrighted gameshow you have to have the rights for in order to broadcast it in your country. So technically if ABC was found guilty and forced to shut down Glass House it would be for violating CBS usage of the Big Brother brand in the US.I think ;p

cause Endemol is a huge hot mess right now and the US version of Wipeout is on ABC.

ABC can just threaten to cancel Wipeout if Endemol even dares sue anyway

Well, I have good news for those interested in this.

The Lawsuit was thrown out the window.

Still won't be able to hold a finger up to the US version tho. 1 show a week will not really work for a show like this
