Have they impressed you? Have they angered you?
Have they improved on C4? Have They made it special again?
Has it turned you right off BB?

I'm interested in hearing your guy's views on BB on C5.

The show is undeniably tackier, it just is, but then again I think everyone knew it was going to be when it was announced it was moving to C5 - the channel is tacky. The whole 'bruv is back' campaign last year was the epitome of tackiness if you ask me, I honestly cannot express just how much I hate the use of the word 'bruv', it is just cringeworthy.

They've messed up on the live feed too (that has definitely angered me), and the show is edging towards a TOWIE rip-off and a blatant reality soap, and I still dislike the silly music montages and editing during tasks, and the OTT Marcus whenever he is occasionally.

But this year they've got the cast spot on, that is one thing they've absolutely got perfect. Best line-up since BB10.

Excuse being boring and repetitive but no live feed - they can naff off.

Horrible editing, no live streaming, ignorance towards fans, poor house designs, raping of CBB, stupid presenter.

However - the housemates this series are making the show, alot like BB10. To the point where I think CH5 are sort of taking a back seat in terms of editing and letting the housemates crack on.

They're doing alot better in 2012 than they did in 2011, the comparison between CBB8 [which I did like] and BB13 is amazing.

The opening credits with the faces of the HM's coming up makes me wince along when during the H/l's their faces pop up doing something stupid.

Was there LF last year?

Music montages don't work either i agree.

Minimal live feed last year..but it was only an odd hour so it doesn't count. LF is needed to regulate the show so they don't make **** up. It's not a reality show once they can make up their own storylines. and it basically defeats the point of talking about the show

They did meh 2011, but 2012 has been a definite improvement in every aspect.

Still need more live feed though. That's my only complaint really. The music/montages doesn't really bother me.

Oh actually I forgot the main and best thing that they've done - vote to save. No complaints there, should've been that way from day one.

I think they are doing quite a good job. I have no complaints. I don't want to see a lot of repetitive tasks though that we have seen before, as that will spoil it. They could have scored a big hit with fans though by bringing live feed back. They missed out there.

Channel 4 killed BB with banning alcohol and turning it into a PG version of the BB we used to know.

Channel 5 didnt introduce the editing either remember BB11 started off the whole music montage, Marcus screaming rather than just narrating.

Yes the live feed thing has ****ed me right off but the last CBB and this BB have been brilliant..Like really addictive.

I think they've done well to minimize the circus freak characters C4 seemed to like. I'd much prefer watching normal people like this years cast than say for example, BB9's Kathreya or BB10's Marcus or BB11's Sree.

I still don't like that they've brought Becky in for that reason as for me she's of that same mould. And honestly those are the "fakest" people who are ever in the house rather than the Luke S's or Arrons that everyone calls fake.

I just don't like watching it. Last years C5 cast was terrible though and I thought BB was well and truly dead but this years cast have a lot of promise, if they keep going the way they are.

Live feed being axed sucks!

Don't like not having LF & music getting played through the HL's annoy me but appart from that I'm enjoying it C5.

It's not as good as the C4 version, but it's still a million times better than any other reality show on British television.

Great I think they've done a better job than ch4 and BOTS is brilliant. Their only downfall which is a really big one is no LF though.

C5 have really surprised me with BB and I like it more than BB9- 11 era on 4. Most importantly 5 has taken BB on like it's their baby and genuinely seem to have pride in airing the show. I think I'm one of the only ones that really likes the editing though?? It's brought the programme up to date and freshened it. They could do with a separate daytime and nite time version of BBOTS. Apart from that the only complaint really would be live feed.

I agree with this, without LF you never really get to know the housemates, the nitty gritty things that make us like or dislike someone are just not there to be seen anymore.

I am enjoying this year quite a bit actually, light years better than last year. But the need to hammer the celebrity version into the ground and the tacky, glam aspects are the things that make me feel like turning off.

As much as I am enjoying BB13 though I have to say that even without live feed any time I go back to watch a series from the 2004-2006 era it puts anything they have done since to shame. The slow, let it play out C4 style is the reason why that is my favorite channel no matter what they did to BB post Celebrity BB 2007.

So in short I am liking it, getting better but it's not my Big Brother. If that makes sense. And yes before you say it I know my BB is long gone, but I can dream right?

I think they've done a good job. There's always stuff about each series that I'm not happy about but I don't expect to ever like every detail of every series either. The only thing I don't like is the lack of Live Feed

I honestly think they have done a terrible job. They have given us one ****ty spin off show, the montages are terrible, the graphics are vile, the title sequence is awful, the houses aren't that great, they are overdoing Celebrity Big Brother, the presenter is one of the worst presenters I have ever seen and we don't have any live feed.

However, I do think they have done a good job with the selection of housemates in this year's series.

I think apart from being so obstinate as to the 'live feed' issue. that Channel 5 have kept BB on our screens and are doing okay with it.

It seems to be the production team who are spoiling it from the concept it was, of course it's good to move on but once you remove things that have been largely set in stone from the start that's when the audience make up could change and mostly be lost.

The tasks are rather tame now, they don't really challenge, even the last 'no laughing' task, it was spread over 2 days, yet to pass it, they could laugh 25 times and still pass, that figure should have been far lower than that to fail.

Also the talking about Nominations, on here it seems tibb members like them being able to overall, I for one don't though,I know people who used to watch BB but since they have watched 3 highlights shows now, largely filled with nomination talking and plotting, they are done with it,they used to vote a lot too.

So I thnk the production team need to get better tasks in my opinion, I would also prefer no nominations talk too. That isn't down to channel 5, that is the BB production team responsible for those changes, in my view, not for the better.

I am still addicted to BB myself however and will always support it.

Well I've enjoyed BB12 and so far BB13 more than C4's last attempt, and CBB9 was one of the best celeb series so can't really complain

I'm really enjoying it. I love the nomination talk, I love the vote to save and I also think they have had much better housemates.

What does annoy me is the constant need to remind the viewers what task the housemates are on.

Never watched live feed so that hasn't affected my viewing.

I'm like that to Niamh, my real beef with C5 is no LF & it
really gets me mad that we are the only country not to have it.

This, I even think there even a been improvements since last year I don't think they are playing as much music through HL this year.

Agreed.

But don't know if this question has been asked before (I have wondered it in my more paranoid moments): Is C5 Big Brother Towie lite? IE is it all loosely scripted? And that is why they won't relent on Live Feed.

There are many counters to that way of thinking obviously: Why pay people when they will do it for free? Couldn't they write better than what we have got? And most importantly wouldn't all the BB12 onward HM's admit to that when they came out for a juicy story?

Just a thought.

The presenter irks me and Marcus's over the top Geordie accent (whoever actually talks like this?) grates. Otherwise I'm well amused. Keep Chris if only because he will give Becky grief.
